A / B Switch for Two Network Connections into Computer - Works Perfectly!
I purchased this so I can select one of two network inputs into my computer. One input from a patch cable between my Xfinity router and my computer. Another input from a patch cable between my work router and computer. This switch works perfectly for this use case. Size and usability of the switch is efficient and speeds from my router are not negatively impacted by adding this switch into my network cable circuit. I attached a pic to show the switch size and another to show network speed impact. My internet data feed feed into my home provides 1000 mbps down / 35 mbps up speeds. This switch causes zero speed degradation compared to speeds I get without it.

Ethernet A/B splitter really works!
I have an occasional need to directly connect to my router rather than through my usual network. I hoped that such an A/B switch for Ethernet might exist, but had never looked for one. I was delighted to find this small gem and connect it so my Internet access would be more direct for online meetings. Although the small instruction leaflet was in Korean, the diagram with the abbreviation "PC" showed me all I needed to know. Now I can switch between sources by pressing one of the two buttons. It takes about 3 seconds for Windows to notice the change, but otherwise its seamless and pretty awesome.

Works well so far.
It's a manual push button switch, so if you are too lazy to move form your couch to your tv to switch it, don't buy it. :) I use this so I can switch a wired connection to either my TV or XBOX, without having to plug or unplug wires. A wired connection is a little bit more reliable than my wireless alternative. I have not noticed any connection speed loss.

I have this setup between my primary and secondary internet connections. It runs well and at full speed - no performance loss at all regarding speed. The connection swap is seamless and quick. Great little product - highly recommend!

Supports high speed and it's SO nice to DC from the net.
Tin foil hat time: Even the greatest firewalls and internet security can be breached. The only thing that truly protects you is physically disconnecting you from the net. Windows 10 has every port imaginable open to Microsoft domains that allow for screen capturing, remote device use like webcams and microphones, and even complete control over your system. Even when using programs such as blackbird, there's always a new port that's opened in an update for Windows that allows for Big Brother intrusion. It's REALLY nice to have a switch right by my mouse to make sure nobody is spying on me through my webcam. I mean yeah, it's pretty bad if the NSA has nothing better to do than to look at me snoring in my bed, but just the feeling of being completely safe from outside intrusion is it's own reward. Because, even if your computer is off, certain motherboards do allow for remote powering up and remote operator control, even when in the 'off' state. That's the rule of being connected to the net, no matter what, you always can be watched and it's not always our government who's doing it. Your data is very valuable to large corporations. Okay, you can remove your tin foil hat, conspiracy rant over... Until we start talking about your cell phone...

Cheap, but you get what you pay for
This was a cheap, easy solution to splitting an ethernet connection between my brother and I. For a while, it worked fine and with no issues. However, a single power outage fried the entire device. Be wary with purchase if you're in a region with frequent power issues.
