My experience was similar to what others have reported. The product initially worked, and when it does, it's extremely useful. However, less than two months later, it is unusable. Although the flow rate metering seems to be still functioning, the temperature reading started to become inaccurate. It was reading 75C for a temperature that was probably only 42C. Ultimately, it's now useless. If you just want a throwaway gadget to help you work out shower usage, that is really the only scenario where it is worthwhile.

I now have one of these installed on each of my showers. Their design is simple, but they do provide feedback to the shower user that few showers provide directly. Having the actual temperature shown and the current flow rate allows you to be far more certain about how you are using the shower. The device is powered by the water flow, and for some reason they did not design it to correctly reset the litres used count, so if you want that figure you must press the reset switch every time you start the shower.

Bought a first one which has worked well so far (6 weeks). Bought a second one which stopped giving flow and volume and gave irrelevant temperature within 2 weeks of installing. Such a shame

Works well, makes the kids get out when the realise they're using lots of water. Although the temperature sensor failed on mine after a few weeks, shows random temperatures like 80oC which it obviously isn't. I bought it for flow rate, so works well for that.

Review after using it for 3 months. The shower timer start showing complete nonsense. Temperature is now always showing 81 Celsius and water flow digits just jumping them self as they want. One day they going up, next day they are stuck, not measuring any water flow and occasionally they dropping down. only one think which is still working when the shower is on is the green, amber and red light. Shame can't give 0 star.

The flow of water powers the device by charging a capacitor. The other reviewers were probably pressing the reset button on the bottom, expecting it to come on… Once water is flowing, it comes to life. Press the reset button when you get in the shower and it’ll measure the water temperature, flow rate and litres used in total. Works like a charm and is helping us keep our shower water usage down. We also use this in conjunction with an adjustable shower flow restrictor to further save water. We’ve gone from 90L per shower to approx 25L. A very useful product. Can’t say how long it’ll last yet but at this price, I’d be happy to replace it when it fails.

This is great for getting an overview of how much you are using for a normal shower. It is also useful to teach children about water consumption. It is very easy to install. The button underneath is for resetting the water meter value to zero after a shower, not for switching on the device. The device switches on automatically once water flows through it. It memorises the last shower, so you know how much the person before you has used, if they don't reset the device. This is a useful feature. The only downside is that the traffic light system is too generous with water consumption. Other devices switch to yellow after 20l.

Worked for about week and seemed to be accurate, before it eventually started not displaying the water usage, then the temperature was massively over reading, then water was pouring out from the reset button, and then the screen died.

Leider funktioniert der Artikel nur am Anfang.!Wie bereits mehrfach in anderen Rezensionen geschrieben, ist auch bei mir inzwischen die Temperaturanzeige inzwischen defekt und zeigt bis zu 81 Grad an.

très utile pour visualiser la consommation d'eau et donc rentre ça ludique avec les enfants mais le débit affiché n'est pas correct, le volume d'eau non plus (ça affiche 9L alors que j'ai déjà rempli un seau de 11L) la température est un peu exagéré, 40 degré affiché alors qu'on est à 35. pas besoin de pile, c'est pratique, installation facile et adéquate. petit bouton en dessous pour remettre à zéro, c'est pratique aussi. l'écran est vert jusqu'à 40 litre, c'est à dire une douche de 8 minutes dans notre cas... c'est donc une douche très très longue pour nous. ça reste très très pratique pour visualiser où on en est.. correction au bout d'un mois : NE MARCHE DEJA PLUS !! du coup moi qui voulait avoir un outil utile pour économiser de l'eau, je me retrouve à avoir acheté un "gadget" qui est inutilisable au bout d'un mois. je culpabilise de mon comportement puéril de consommateur

con questo dispositivo è aumentata la responsabilità dei miei figli che usano la doccia per molto tempo. Il massimo sarebbe avere un timer che misura anche il tempo di utilizzo doccia.

It's very badly made. The flow meter is way off Unrestricted flow was showing 7l/m Actually was more than 10l/m. Kind of useless if the only function that is worth using it for is so far out.. Do not recommend this product
