Review: Great paddle for beginners learning the game - I recently started playing pickleball and bought the HEAD Radical Elite 2024 paddle as my first proper paddle. As a beginner it has been a really good introduction to the game. The paddle feels lightweight and comfortable to hold which makes it easier to control shots while I am still learning. The grip is comfortable and does not feel slippery even after playing for a while. One thing I really like is the bright design. The colours stand out on the court and it looks great compared to some of the more plain paddles. In terms of performance it seems to work well for casual games and practice sessions. I cannot compare it to many other paddles yet but it feels balanced and forgiving which is helpful when you are still improving your technique. I had been playing pickleball for around six months and like many players was soon hooked. I decided to invest in a better paddle. I purchased this having played a game with one I borrowed from a fellow player. It is incredibly light, with a very comfortable grip. I believe it allows me to control the ball better, particularly when “dinking” over the net. I think it has improved my game.
