(270g). Review: When did we lose track of Ivory Soap? - As my family was growing up, every bathroom was stocked with Ivory Soap! I swore by it to keep my 7 children clean, with a minimum of extra perfumes and chemicals. Yes, I did believe it was 99 percent pure! It was always in the supermarket, in bundles of four bars. Then, somehow, it disappeared, and a lot of times, due to travels for work, we had leftover hotel bars, and of course the children had grown up and weren't there any more! Recently, I had to perform medical procedure for my husband and Ivory soap was recommended. I was glad to find it on desertcart, and ordered two bars. I have to confess it seems somewhat different now. It doesn't have the smooth finish and texture of earlier days (and did I mention that children's art projects often started with a bar of Ivory Soap to carve -- so texture was important). It seemed a bit grainy but it worked just fine. Maybe from now on, when I need soap I'll use Ivory again. I don't like perfumes and additives! Review: A Product That Never Fails Expectations - Ivory Soap is a quality product that has delivered over the years. I grew up using it, I still use it now at age 70. Yes - there are a great deal of products out there that might compete, or possibly exceed, but why experiment when consistency is a driving reason for staying true to a particular product. I'm really happy with my skin. Ivory plays a key part.
