Great Sound and ANC for the Price — Mic Quality Is the Only Weak Spot
I’ve been using the EarFun Wave Pro for a bit now, and they deliver far more than I expected at this price. The sound quality is excellent, especially with LDAC enabled, and the ANC does a surprisingly solid job at cutting out background noise — easily good enough for commuting and office use. The app is genuinely well done too. The EQ is responsive, presets actually sound different, and tweaking the profile is quick and intuitive. Battery life has also been fantastic; I’m getting multiple days of use without even thinking about charging. The only real downside is the microphone. It works, but it’s noticeably weaker than the rest of the package. On calls I’ve had to speak a little louder for the other person to hear me clearly, and in noisy environments it struggles more than expected. If you prioritise sound, comfort, ANC, and battery life, these are an impressive pair of headphones. Just don’t expect top-tier mic performance for calls.

Very nice headphones
I like Earfun products, They seem to pack alot of function into them. Each one I've purchased has been better than the last. This is the first pair of headphones I've had from them so was a new experience for me. They are very well packaged and come in their own hard case. The headphones are foldable so they take up less space. I liked the L & R logos being on the foam inserts making it easy to see for wearing them the correct way round. (Many manufacturers just put a Tiny L & R somewhere on the bottom which is generally tough to see, especially at night) They come with a manual, USB charging cable and a Jack lead so you can plug them in directly. (Although this does bypass all the app facilities like eq and volume control) Sound wise they are fine, I prefer the out of the box EQ'd sound from the Earfun Free Pro 3 as they suit my listening tastes better. Not saying they sound bad, they are just not to my personal taste. I tweaked the audio frequencies using the app and got them to sound closer to what I prefer and this was much better. The audio quality is very clear though and I was able to pick out little hard to hear bits of backing vocals and other sometimes lost in the mix bits in the songs I listened to. Battery life is excellent and charging doesn't take long at all. I haven't had much chance to test the noise cancelling but can hear a noticeable change in sound when the NC button it pressed to cycle through the settings and you can hear the back ground noise reduce considerably. I found them quite comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the pads around the ears provided a secure fit. I had no issues with bluetooth in the 2 days I've owned them and the range is more than good enough for my use. They connected to my phone very quickly and stayed connected. You can connect them to two devices at once by switching on the facility in the app. You can also do things like reset the headphones, set automatic shutdown time, update firmware as well as turn on game mode and customise the controls. Overall I like them and feel that they offer value for money.

Not the best sounding headphones - but really good value for the price
I use Grado headphones for home listening and B&W noise cancelling when I am travelling. In May, my wife and I travelled on a flight with loads of young children on. I put on the B&W's connected to my DAP and spent the next four hours in a world of my own. My wife, however, did not. She usually finds her own world by simply reading on her Kindle. As the flight started to descend, I took off my headphones to be greeted by an unusually stressed wife. She'd had an awful trip and not been able to concentrate on reading so every minute of the journey had been wearing. Knowing that my wife would kill me if I bought her a pair of B&W's off the bat, I thought I'd buy her a pair of reasonably cheap headphones. I read a number of reviews and the EarFuns seem to be well thought of for the money so, unbeknown to her, I bought her a pair. Once they arrived and I'd had a gentle telling-off for "wasting" money, we did a side-by-side test of them with the B&Ws. There is no doubt the B&W's sound better - but then, at 4 times the price, they ought to. But the sound from the EarFun's was decent enough - everything was present and correct - it just lacked the weight and substance of the B&Ws We've just come back from a trip involving two 41/2 hour flights with plenty of kids on them. My wife loved them (not the kids - the headphones!) She couldn't believe the difference that noise cancellation made to her comfort during the trip. Both flights passed in a blur for both of us. If you want something that's well-made, simple to use, reasonably light to wear with with a decent battery life and sound then these are a good option. If you want the last word in musical fidelity, then maybe look elsewhere.

Great but not as great as the YouTube hype
If you look for reviews on YouTube or online you'll find many saying these are amazing and with noise cancelling as good as the Bose Ultra or Airpod headphones, with equal or better quality sound. Well, that is definitely not true as I got rid of Bose Ultra headphones and later got these instead and the noise cancellation is definitely not good as sound, nor the sound quality. For £60 the sound when you listen to music IS good, although you will need to use the earfun app to set the equaliser the way you prefer it to be so the sound quality suits you better. Never less the sound is good, it's not off putting, and surprisingly the noise cancelling is pretty good, definitely almost as good as the Bose, you'll still hear more noise but it does make a noticeable difference. You can use these wired even with no power in the battery, which is great as I prefer wired headphones over Bluetooth, although in wired mode you have no power and so there is no noise cancelling or noise processing which means you'll need to use a music player that has an equaliser to make it sound better when listening in wired mode. Battery life using ldac at its highest setting is good, and even on a crowded bus I have had literally zero connection issues, which has surprised me as even with Sonys XM4 headphones a packed bus would result in the occasional audio issue when 909 kbps ldac. Build quality is good, no noticeable creaking, and it feels well made and definitely feels like it should cost more to buy than it actually does. It comes with a nice practical case, which the headphones fold up to fit into, so they don't take as much space up as they otherwise would, which is a good thing as you can fit these into a bag, rucksack or, for ladies, quite possibly a decent size handbag even. You can customise what most of the buttons do and the sound is loud enough that you can happily get lost in music, if you really want to, and blissfully ignore the outside noise. In fact they are that good that I would consider getting their earbuds for those occasions when I haven't got room for the headphones, like when you're going out and just want a set of small earbuds you can put in a pocket. I can't comment on microphone quality in calls as I don't use them for calls, I don't use any headphones for calls, what I can say is as a pair of affordable decent quality and good sounding headphones for a commute where you might also want decent noise cancelling these are very, very, good. They're probably the perfect balance between price and quality, so get them if you want a good low cost decent quality set of headphones, just dont let the hype make you think they'll beat your Bose, Sony or Apple top of the line noise cancelling headphones because, well, they won't. But they dont need to, they're great for exactly what they set out to be, decent headphones with good sound, good noise cancelling and a good price. And for that, they are pretty much the perfect choice. Earfun seem to be, although a Chinese company, an actually good brand with good quality control, not something you typically think of when someone says affordable chinese made product. I already have their usb c dac which I use on my commute to and from work (spoiler alert, the dac is brilliant and beats the fiio one I had very easily) which is why I chose the Earfun headphones and, again, they are another product that is affordable and beats the nearest competition.

Good value headphones
I’m impressed with these headphones. Easy to setup, Bluetooth very responsive. Appreciate the hard case provided for storage & protection when not in use. They are not waterproof but for me that is not an issue, using them indoors. The headphones feel reasonably robust but still treat them with care when turning the ear cups or putting on/taking off to avoid over extension. Noise cancelling works well. Ear cups & head band comfortably, even for a large head. Sound quality is good enough for me, I’m no audio expert. The App you can download allows you to set the sound quality you like. Often listen to ‘my stuff’ while others watching TV. No sound ‘escapes’ from the headphones unlike some headphones I’ve used (poor cup quality or fit) For a mid price set of headphones can’t go far wrong with these.

Superb headphones at an excellent price!
So, I decided to grab these headphones on day one which allowed me to take advantage of an early bird special pricing... But with that being said, I would happily recommend these at their retail price and if you can get them on offer then even better. Look, I'm not going to get into all the fancy details. The reason I decided to try these was the fact that I recently purchased the Earfun Air 2 earbuds, which was the first time I have ever tried an Earfun product and I was very pleased with how they performed. So much that I was interested to see what other items were available. Then I found out that they were releasing these over ear headphones. Now I'm not claiming to be some sort of specialist in this department but I have a few overears. Sennheiser pxx-500ii, Sony WH-1000XM4 plus the not as expensive Final ux3000 which I do enjoy and the highly praised budget 1more Sonoflow... Along with other various other brands, wired, earbuds, overears, on ears .. blah blah blah. But anyway, straight to the point. The comfort on these earfun headphones is great and definitely on par if not better than any of the previously mentioned. The sound quality, of course, the most important thing about headphones... These sound good, nice and clear, not over powering in the bass department and the highs aren't harsh at all, I haven't experienced any harsh s'ssss lol. They seem to have a more pushed forward vocal which in all honesty I kind of enjoy as I've often found instruments overpowering on other headphones at times I'd say that these kind of put me in mind of Sennheiser but with a slight boost in the bass. It's a very easy and pleasant sound which can be listened to for a long time without fatigue. Well, I didn't want to come into this review and start writing a novel. All you need to know is that in terms of sound, comfort and the fact you have access to many features through the app. Oh, and the ANC, should you need it has performed very well albeit from my limited need. All together, at this price point they beat out pretty much all of the competition and I'm definitely glad that I decided to pick these up and look forward to many listening sessions in the future. It has to be 5 stars. You really can't fault the price to performance ratio. Oh and LDAC codec! Nice. The end. ;)

Great value and quality.
Bought on recommendation from Tech Radar. These are very nice headphones with super long battery life. Comfortable to wear and sound adjustable through the app. Very good value for money.

So close. . .
I love earfun products so I was really excited about their first full headphones. First the good - they look great, build seems good although the buttons don't feel very robust, bluetooth connection is excellent, battery life is superb, they can be connected with a 3.5mm cable. Obviously the price is excellent. The earphones sound good on normal sound. The ANC is very good, but here's where the problem is. When it is switched on, the audio deteriorates to a point where I can't listen to them. The audio is incredibly muffled. You expect some deterioration with ANC but not this much. I will stick with them due to the normal sound quality and hope that any future firmware upgrades will improve the ANC sound quality.
