Great Sound and ANC for the Price — Mic Quality Is the Only Weak Spot
I’ve been using the EarFun Wave Pro for a bit now, and they deliver far more than I expected at this price. The sound quality is excellent, especially with LDAC enabled, and the ANC does a surprisingly solid job at cutting out background noise — easily good enough for commuting and office use. The app is genuinely well done too. The EQ is responsive, presets actually sound different, and tweaking the profile is quick and intuitive. Battery life has also been fantastic; I’m getting multiple days of use without even thinking about charging. The only real downside is the microphone. It works, but it’s noticeably weaker than the rest of the package. On calls I’ve had to speak a little louder for the other person to hear me clearly, and in noisy environments it struggles more than expected. If you prioritise sound, comfort, ANC, and battery life, these are an impressive pair of headphones. Just don’t expect top-tier mic performance for calls.

Great but not as great as the YouTube hype
If you look for reviews on YouTube or online you'll find many saying these are amazing and with noise cancelling as good as the Bose Ultra or Airpod headphones, with equal or better quality sound. Well, that is definitely not true as I got rid of Bose Ultra headphones and later got these instead and the noise cancellation is definitely not good as sound, nor the sound quality. For £60 the sound when you listen to music IS good, although you will need to use the earfun app to set the equaliser the way you prefer it to be so the sound quality suits you better. Never less the sound is good, it's not off putting, and surprisingly the noise cancelling is pretty good, definitely almost as good as the Bose, you'll still hear more noise but it does make a noticeable difference. You can use these wired even with no power in the battery, which is great as I prefer wired headphones over Bluetooth, although in wired mode you have no power and so there is no noise cancelling or noise processing which means you'll need to use a music player that has an equaliser to make it sound better when listening in wired mode. Battery life using ldac at its highest setting is good, and even on a crowded bus I have had literally zero connection issues, which has surprised me as even with Sonys XM4 headphones a packed bus would result in the occasional audio issue when 909 kbps ldac. Build quality is good, no noticeable creaking, and it feels well made and definitely feels like it should cost more to buy than it actually does. It comes with a nice practical case, which the headphones fold up to fit into, so they don't take as much space up as they otherwise would, which is a good thing as you can fit these into a bag, rucksack or, for ladies, quite possibly a decent size handbag even. You can customise what most of the buttons do and the sound is loud enough that you can happily get lost in music, if you really want to, and blissfully ignore the outside noise. In fact they are that good that I would consider getting their earbuds for those occasions when I haven't got room for the headphones, like when you're going out and just want a set of small earbuds you can put in a pocket. I can't comment on microphone quality in calls as I don't use them for calls, I don't use any headphones for calls, what I can say is as a pair of affordable decent quality and good sounding headphones for a commute where you might also want decent noise cancelling these are very, very, good. They're probably the perfect balance between price and quality, so get them if you want a good low cost decent quality set of headphones, just dont let the hype make you think they'll beat your Bose, Sony or Apple top of the line noise cancelling headphones because, well, they won't. But they dont need to, they're great for exactly what they set out to be, decent headphones with good sound, good noise cancelling and a good price. And for that, they are pretty much the perfect choice. Earfun seem to be, although a Chinese company, an actually good brand with good quality control, not something you typically think of when someone says affordable chinese made product. I already have their usb c dac which I use on my commute to and from work (spoiler alert, the dac is brilliant and beats the fiio one I had very easily) which is why I chose the Earfun headphones and, again, they are another product that is affordable and beats the nearest competition.

Decent headphones
Only got them yesterday, but first impressions are good. Sound quality is decent and considering the price range actually very good. The app helps a lot with fine tuning the EQ. The ANC is also decent getting rid of most of the ambient noise, but does not give the disorienting feeling of being on a soundstage (or in a vacuum box). The built quality is excellent for the price range and the ear pads are comfortable and don’t squeak. Setup was straightforward thanks to clearly laid out instructions and voice prompts. Connectivity is swift. I don’t think these take longer than other Bluetooth headphones I have when turning off. I have not tried to get the second connection working yet and will update this review once I get round to that. The supplied carry case is sturdy and a very good and useful addition. The negatives are the lack of colour choice and I find the headphones slightly on the large side. As well as the fact that during a phone call you cannot switch between the different ANC modes. I cannot comment on battery life yet, but again will update this review once I have used the headphones for a while.

Klare Empfehlung! 👍🏽

For the huge difference in price, this piece of art matches the high end brands when it comes to noise cancelling, and it has a decent audio quality too, other brands offer a slightly better bass and louder volume, but the audio quality is great. I was also impressed by the call quality, those on the other side of the call can hear me clearly even while I am at the gym or walking outside in a loud environment, I am very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been using the EarFun Wave Pro Active Noise Canceling Headphones for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how they elevate my audio experience with their blend of premium features, comfort, and affordability. As someone who loves music, podcasts, and the occasional outdoor adventure, these over-ear headphones have become my go-to for immersive sound and noise-free focus. With advanced hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), a 40mm DLC composite dynamic driver, and a battery life that seems to go on forever, the Wave Pro delivers a high-end experience at a budget-friendly price, typically around $80. The sleek, foldable design in black, paired with plush ear cushions, makes them a stylish and comfortable companion for everything from daily commutes to camping trips, and I can’t stop raving about their versatility and quality. The sound quality is nothing short of spectacular. The 40mm drivers produce rich, detailed audio with punchy bass and crisp highs, making every song in my playlist—whether it’s jazz or electronic—sound vibrant and alive. The Hi-Res Audio certification ensures I hear every nuance, and I’ve found myself rediscovering favorite tracks with newfound clarity. The ANC is a game-changer, blocking up to 35dB of ambient noise. Whether I’m in a noisy coffee shop or tuning out the hum of an RV generator, the world fades away, leaving just me and my music. One time, I was so immersed in a podcast that I didn’t even notice my dog barking nearby! The transparency mode is equally impressive, letting me stay aware of my surroundings during walks without removing the headphones, which I find incredibly convenient. Comfort is where the Wave Pro truly shines. Weighing just 268 grams, they feel light on my head, even during long listening sessions. The soft, protein leather ear cushions and adjustable headband make them a joy to wear, with no ear fatigue after hours of use. I’ve worn them for entire work-from-home days, switching between music and Zoom calls, and they never feel cumbersome. The multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 connection is seamless, letting me switch between my phone and laptop without missing a beat. I also love the low-latency Game Mode for watching videos or playing casual mobile games, as it keeps audio perfectly synced with visuals, enhancing my Netflix binges or gaming sessions. For camping, these headphones are an absolute delight. Their foldable design fits easily into my backpack, and the included carrying case keeps them safe during rugged outdoor trips. The 80-hour battery life without ANC (or 55 hours with it) means I can go an entire camping weekend without needing a recharge, even while streaming music by the campfire or listening to audiobooks in my tent. I recently took them on an RV trip, and the ANC blocked out road noise so well that I could enjoy my playlists in peace while my partner drove. The IPX5 water resistance is a nice touch, protecting against light rain or splashes by the lake, and I’ve never worried about them getting damaged during outdoor use. Plus, the USB-C charging is super convenient for topping up with my portable power bank.Ease of use and maintenance make the Wave Pro a breeze to incorporate into my routine. The EarFun Audio app lets me customize EQ settings to tweak the sound to my liking, whether I want extra bass for hip-hop or balanced tones for classical music. The built-in microphones deliver crystal-clear call quality, and I’ve gotten compliments on how professional I sound during virtual meetings. Cleaning is simple—just a quick wipe with a damp cloth keeps them looking pristine. The headphones also come with a 3.5mm cable for wired listening, which I’ve used when the battery ran low after forgetting to charge them (though that’s rare given the insane battery life). I recommend buying the EarFun Wave Pro Active Noise Canceling Headphones for their exceptional quality, budget-friendly price, and incredible versatility. The stellar sound, powerful ANC, and long battery life make them perfect for music lovers, remote workers, and campers like me. Their lightweight comfort, durable design, and outdoor-ready features ensure they’re a reliable companion for any adventure, offering premium performance that far exceeds their price point.
