For those who look at those lighting charts as a buying factor, keep in mind they are done in a mylar box to ensure light reflection. My photo was done 11in. off my kitchen floor. I was still pulling 1184 PPFD. Installed in my 4 x 4 tent, and at 12in. above my canopy, I have it dialed in at 1050 PPFD while only using 90% of the power. For those you use light meters to set up your grow room, you will appreciate knowing this. This light runs cooler than my previous lights, so kudos to that factor. The mobile app. to adjust lighting is a great way to dial in your grow space while keeping it enclosed and without light leakage. I upgraded from the Mars Hydro SP3000 and this brand continues to deliver on value, features and performance.

Great little light, exactly right for my tiny growing space. Plants love it. Does not raise the temps in my space at all. If I had worse ventilation that would likely be another story, but you can totally hold even the hottest part of this light comfortably for a minutes without the risk of burning yourself. That means most of its power is going into producing photons. Seemingly very economical as well, has not impacted my bill year over year compared to not running anything at all. I think there might be a hidden variable there though.

I mean what can I say? This is exactly what I was looking for. This is more than enough for a 3x3 tent. It's actually a little more than most need. I have to keep mine 24 in or above.(Veg) When on 100%. But that's exactly why I bought this light because I wanted better coverage around the perimeter and this is definitely going to provide it. I can tell already after 3 days. This is definitely a commercial grade light. At least to me at a steel of a price. It came highly recommended and I highly recommend it. So update only a few weeks to harvest, this lights great, I am adding 1200-1300ppm c02 in a 3x3 AC Infinity tent, so I am running it @ about 16in @ 100% and it's measuring 72,000-73,000 lux at the very top bud site. If your looking into growing, and you're trying to do it right once like I was. Don't waste your time, just buy this light. Even if for some reason you can't afford it at the moment, wait until you can. Because the performance the price is great. Haven't had any issues and if I do I'll be sure to update. But I am extremely happy with the purchase. I mean let's call it what it is. It's a commercial grow light and it performs like one.

I only have th fc-1500 a few days now and I think the driver becomes too hot for my little indoor green house. The FAQ about this product on the Mars Hydro website says that it does not create much heat and the driver cannot be separated from the light bars. But I will do that. I already ordered some wire connectors to move it out. But in all I think the fc-1500 is a good product and gives good value for money.

I bought 5 of these lights within th last 2.5 years. Two have stopped working, completely. 900$ lights should last more than 2 years.

I love my first FC3000 which was a 2022 model, I've had amazing results and no problems at all. The new 2024 EVO model looks very different. The EVO has wider flatter light bars and is supposed to dissipate heat better and the channels holding the bars are open on the inside whereas the old one uses box tubing. Both came pre-assembled, feel sturdy, and are easy to set up. The EVO diodes are supposed to be more efficient and last longer. If it's as good as the 2022 model I'll be happy. If it's better I doubt I'll notice. I hope it's as reliable as the first one has been so far. The par readings I'm getting are amazing in my 27x27x60 grow tents and the lights never need to be run at 100%. I don't plan on using the app so I can't speak to that. My controllers are outside my tents which keeps it simple for me and I already had a timer set up. I like that this new model was less expensive than the old one even with more features and updated diodes. Hopefully, this new 2024 model will be as reliable as the old one has been and I'll get several more years out of them both.

DO NOT BUY !!!! I had a Mars Hydro FC6500 in use for just about 2 years. The other day the dimmer failed. I'm no longer able to adjust the intensity. It's either almost no light at all, or the light of the sun in your face. It's taken 5 days of emails with customer service in China to tell me that I can pay $420 for a new lamp right away, or I can pay $20 and wait 2 months for them to ship me a new driver for the lamp. They asked for my personal information as well as PayPal information. It seems all too much like a scam to me. Don't buy from this company. At least buy from one that has customer service here in the USA. Will not buy from Mars Hydro Again !!!

So I have bought a couple of dozen grow lights and influenced the buying decision for a charity that bought in bulk from Mars Hydro. This is a good light that performs well. On this model I actually had a problem with the light and I contacted Mars Hydro. They troubleshooted the light with me and when it could not be fixed replaced it. They only required a small payment for shipping the new light. This light had operated in a harsher environment in a greenhouse than many of my other lights. I have found that the Mars Hydro SP3000 lights are more stable in harsher conditions and none of them have failed. They only required a small payment for shipping the new light! What I like best about this Mars Hydro light is the very even coverage I get over a large area. If you want a light with product support, this is a great choice.

Für meine Gemüsezucht brauchte ich eine neue Lampe und die Wahl viel nach längerer Überlegung auf die neue Mars Hydro FC3000. Folgende Dinge haben mich überzeugt: Meanwell Netzteil Samsung LM301B und Osram LEDs. Also schon mal kein Billig No Name Mist. Und da es schlicht die neuste war habe ich mich Spontan für diese Lampe dann entschieden. Und ich wurde mehr als Überrascht. Die Lampe bietet viele Dinge welche man sonst nur an einer teuren DIY Lampe findet. z.b. die Möglichkeit Netzteil und Dimmer extern zu betreiben. (Allerdings werden dafür 2x weitere Seilratschen benötigt... Welche allerdings nun nicht die Welt kosten.) Gleichzeitig hat man direkt zwischen Netzteil / Dimmer Einheit und Lampe einen vernünftigen Stecker um die Lampe bei Bedarf ab zu machen ohne sich einen abfummeln zu müssen falls man das Netzteil so wie ich extern, also außerhalb des Zeltes betreibt. Sehr durchdacht das ganze. Durch den Aufbau der LEDs, Also das man praktisch 4x "Balken" inklusive Kühlkörper hat, und nicht alles auf einem Brett wie es sogar bei viel teureren Lampen teilweise üblich ist, haben wir bei dieser Lampe praktisch gar kein Problem mit zu hoher Hitze Entwicklung. Schön Handlich ist die Lampe dadurch aus und im vergleich zu anderen LED Bombern sehr gut zu tragen. Die Lichtleistung ist für ein 1mx1mx2m Zelt wohl sehr sehr gut. Gerade das Dimmen ist eine Feine Sache und man spart dadurch auch noch Geld. In meinen Augen ist es zur Zeit für das Geld was man dafür ausgibt, also von der Preisleistung her, wohl eine der besten, wenn nicht sogar die beste LED Grow Lampe mit 300 Watt Leistung auf dem Markt. Von der Leistung her, kann ich mir vorstellen das es wohl mit einer 400 Watt NDL mit Boost Funktion mithält. also ca 450 - 480 Watt NDL Leistung, Zumindest meiner bisherigen Einschätzung nach. Gibt zumindest schon einige YT Videos welche das soweit bestätigen.

This light is unlike any other ive used so far in my 3 x 3. It's so powerful it was like turning on the sun. It's so sleek and couldn't be easier to assemble. If you're wanting an amazing light that will give you excellent yields from your medicinal plants then look no further. I can not shout about this light enough....and for the price you just can't go wrong. Whether you're a beginner or pro it is the dogs clems. It has the dimmer on the side and all the stuff you need to hang it. It's not heavy at all and one person can handle the job, easy. I have tried other competitors on the markets lights and they just don't compare and for me, I think they are more than enough for a 3 x 3 in a homegrown....sturdy, robust, gorgeous full spectrum, and very inexpensive for what you get...

Great light, got it to replace a 240 watt similar light and this one has exceeded expectations... Feels like more than a 60 watt bump vs Samsung 281 diodes
