Very sturdy shoes! Last a long time - 7 year old wore them for entire second semester of 1st grade. Very comfortable and nonslip. Great value for the price!

These shoes have been working great for our 4 year old. He is able to put them on himself, including getting them on th correct feet. They have a roomy toe box that allows his foot to flex naturally as he runs and plays. They have proven to be durable, as he has used them extensively for park trips, pre-school, and walks through the woods searching for frogs and lizards. They have also proven to be quite resistant to dirt and stains, and are easily cleaned by brushing them off. The soles are stable and provide a lot of grip; he easily climbs up the wrong way in slides at playgrounds. We are very happy with these shoes, and the price is worth the comfort for his feet and the durability.

These are great if you’re looking for wide toe, zero drop but still a thick enough sole for some protection. Not super lightweight as far as barefoot shoes go, but still light compared to regular shoes. Easy for toddlers to get on and off. And seem to be durable-We’ll see though. The top material is not flimsy, and it holds its shape. And can dress up or down.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! My son is on the autism spectrum and absolutely cannot stand tight shoes on his feet. He also struggles with foot control when wearing most regular shoes. He usually wears Crocs for the width, but they offer little traction on the playground. We bought him these, and he is completely in love with how flexible they are. He’s now confidently running, climbing, and jumping without hesitation. They are thin enough for him to move his feet however he pleases without feeling restrained but not thin enough to where he feels every rock he steps on. The speckled colors on the sole add such a fun touch and make it easy to pair with any outfit. They slip on effortlessly, and the Velcro strap is incredibly secure. I would buy these in every size until he outgrows them completely.

I started my boys on more minimal style shoes this year after learning more about the importance of allowing the foot to move how God designed it. These are flexible and comfortable with a wide toe box, allowing for plenty of space for toes to wiggle. The rubber sole allows for fast running, and no slipping! Very important for my preschooler. The only negatives I've noticed are 1) they have 0 water resistance, soaking up every drop of dew in the grass, taking a long time to dry and 2) they're not that easy for my son to put on himself. We still love them and will probably purchase another size when he grows out of these because they're cute and functional.

My daughter loves these shoes. She has wide feet so these accommodate that. True to size. Easy for my 4 year old to put on herself with ankle socks on. She love the color and is comfortable in them. Bottom of she has thick rubber that seems durable. Good foot protection. Good value.

Love the wide foot on these shoes. Perfect for my toddler. I do wish that the strap was a bit longer.

The media could not be loaded. This is my 5th purchase from the Whitin brand. Affordable and not too barefoot with the insert which is how my daughter prefers. For more barefoot feel simply remove insert. I do like how they upgraded their kids model. Holding up well so far, will try their canvas model for kids next.Sizing was easy, and as long as you follow their provided measurements, shoes will fit.In comparison to usual us size their size was one larger. Example: Carter’s shoes we have size 11, Whitin was size 12.Functionality is great, stretch of the material has a good give when putting them on, and had no complaints about comfort! We do wear regular fit socks, not no see socks, so no issues with rubbing in the back, but their older model was softer I the back (pink shoes in the picture). Unfortunately velcro on older model was not sturdy and I had to mend it after a while.
