I solid grinder no flimsy plastic bits. You do have to work at grinding but I have arthritis and my husband does not have a problem. I bought 2 one as a gift and they also confirm how good it is. Yes would by again. Not sure if you can use for course salt but not tried yet.

Am thrilled with this pepper mill. I have wanted one for a couple of years but waited until my old one broke. It grinds beautifully and is so cute. It is expensive but definitely worth it. So pleased I finally bought this quality item!

Reassuringly heavy enough to know this is a quality item, beautifully designed, nicely manufactured with a conical burr, not an inferior flat type. Mills peppercorns effortlessly, a joy to own and use Great value for money, would buy from them again.

It’s a bit smaller than I imagined and it’s quite heavy, however grinds well and is so well made it should last for ever!

Heavy , well made

The item is very heavy, has a seam in the metal which is a bit unseemly, does not grind well and the screw at the top gets looser and looser as you grind. Altogether a v expensive and disappointing item and that's why I returned it.
