Series 1 Paper Airplanes - Titans of Flight

These paper airplanes are awesome! I got this paper airplane set as an activity me and my two boys (8 and 10) could do together. When I first opened the package I was a little overwhelmed. These looked more like models than paper airplanes. There were a lot of pieces to complete the whole. Once we got going, it turned out to be very intuitive. In fact, half the fun is putting these things together. The first flights were nothing extraordinary, but with a little tweaking we had these things really cruising. The included launcher was awesome! If only I knew about the rubber-band trick when I was a kid. These things are cool x2 when you can launch them! The only problem we had was the nose getting crunched with the repeated impacts on pavement. TIP: After a couple of serious crashes we had an idea. We took some 5 minute epoxy, mixed up a small batch, and coated the tips of all our planes about 1/2" up. It had no effect on flight, but it made the plane stand up much better to the crashes. Now our planes are super durable! Even better, There are a lot (12) of planes in the kit. Serious value! Hours of fun!!

I was so excited to receive this product! Growing up, my brothers and I spent countless hours seeing who could build the best paper airplane. Now I am able to share the love of building paper airplanes with my four year old boy. It was very apparent to me while unboxing, that the product designers really care about the users experience. The throw back branding, paper instructions and on product instructions were both extremely helpful and appreciated. We have now been building one to two airplanes per week and my boy looks forward to building the next one with me. We’ll be buying again once we’ve all our model paper airplanes have been built. These are a blast! The order was shipped quick and they are easy to assemble. I love how it looks and it flies great. The only problem is my kids all want one now:)
