Cold Air Intake kit with Heat Shield Fit for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L V6, Increases Horsepower & Torque, More Aggressive and Sporty Induction Sound

This is a incredibly well made set up, and it is definitely worth the money spent. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that it's comes with absolutely no instructions, but being that I have installed several cold air intakes I was able to figure it all out. It makes the engine more loud because you don't have a the restrictive factory air box that acts like a muffler for sound, but this is mostly when the engine gears down for passing etc. I would say it's helped a little with mileage and I've noticed my temp stays a little cooler especially when towing my boat. If your on the fence about buying this, and have some mechanical knowledge and common sense, buy it, it's a great deal. It's as well made as the K&Ns and other name brands I've installed on my vehicles.

Installation was a bit more difficult than expected, the housing for the filter arrived bent and took some time to get back into solid shape. The gasket and sensor Installation was tricky, but stay patient - the bolts for the bottom of the housing didn't completely sit flush at the end of the firewall gaskets - but with enough fenagling you can make due (if you have a fender liner, this might cause a few thrown ratchets) Love the sound, and the MPG improvement isn't huge, but every bit counts.

I returned this product and I felt it was more of a mystery of all the parts and bolts and the the instructions was not very good

The price is an excellent price for a cold air intake and the quality is really good. I purchased this cold air intake for my Jeep JK and they do what they claim. I get a noticable increase in milage, more power, great sound, and excellent asthetics. Came with instructions, installation was pretty easy.

Real PITA to put together and install. Grommet for air temp sensor is WAYYYY too tight, broke my sensor trying to install. OK for the price i guess

Wow for price an great increase on fuel mileage

Not much to say. Figment was poor. The shield it came with was impossible to mount. The filter was usable but damaged. And the sound is awful at wide open throttle.
