Great oil for the price

I have a 99 Ford Excursion V10 I purchased new. I have only used conventional oil in it since it was new. At 400,000 miles it was lacking its luster, performance wise, but still ran fine. My mechanic recommended using a full synthetic oil in it. I was hesitant at first but I finally pulled the trigger on it, using Mobil 1. After the first 50 miles I could feel the engine coming back to life. At 100 miles the engine was running like it did when it was brand new or even better! At times, I think the engine dies sitting at a stop light until I look at the tachometer and see it’s still running. It runs like a watch, I couldn’t believe the difference. My truck loves it!

My baby has close to 300000 miles and was acting rough now with this Mobil oil change it definitely running lot smoother I can see and feel the difference.

This is a great oil and the price is hard to beat, most of the time it's cheaper on amazon then anywhere else. I've never had and issues with leaking when it's shipped to me it's always packaged quite well. Hard to recommend buying it from anywhere else.

This review is for this great oil and other tips. Instead of buying a separate quart, buy the 5 quart jug and pull out a quart. It is then half price for the extra quart. Instead of a drain plug, use the Fumoto Quick Oil Drain Valve. with a holder clip Takes 7 minutes to drain. Then you never have to take off your old drain plug and add a new drain plug washer!. Keep old oil drain bolt in trunk. Makes it much faster for oil changes too! I have it on all my Toyotas. I bought a see-through oil funnel that screws into the Toyota engine to prevent spills. You are an idiot if you go beyond 5, 000 miles per oil change interval. All my Toyotas go past 350K miles. I don't know the difference between the Extended Performance High Mileage and the High Mileage oils, so I use the Extended Performance High Mileage oil. I'm not sure I like the idea of removing the dipstick to help expedite oil drain flow. Too much chance of getting dirt on it needlessly. I do unscrew the oil cap. I blow out my air filter and check air in tires when I change my oil.
