Dansko Women's Pro XP

First of all you should know that these shows are meant to be worn loose in the heel. They are a shoe that should feel like a clog.Also - I wear an 8 on my right foot and a 9 on my left, which is why I’ve usually gone to mules. But this clog changed everything! I have wide, thick feet. I also have Raynaud’s, pitted edema, have broken toes on both feet, as well as have had surgery on both feet. These shoes are still amazing. Out of the box, no blisters, my naked feet don’t sweat in them... they’re just about perfect. They are a little heavy, but I don’t mind that. Normally just wearing a lightweight sock will causes my legs/feet to swell, as do my (used to be) favorite Alegria shoes, but NOT these. And the detailing on these shoes is noticeable but not so much that it’s a distraction. I’m very impressed!

I am always a 7.5 in ladies shoes so I ordered a 38 per shoe chart, however, they were ridiculously huge (way more than two finger's width long and wide). I returned them for a size 37 and the 37 fit with a lot of room in the back and sides and is the "loose" fit I believe people are saying to expect. They are much cuter in the correct fit and I'm keeping the 37's. In summary beware these run way too big and I ordered one size smaller then chart says and still very roomy even with socks.

I'm on my feet for 10 hours a day in a hospital setting. I've tried Dankos, Danko XP, Sanitas, sneakers, etc. and I prefer these shoes the most.PROS-the XP foot bed has a bit of a cushion compared to other similar shoes, including regular Danskos-the instep gives my foot plenty of room and there was no break-in period-the tooled leather look is actually pretty-the sizing is fairly accurate (I'm an 8.5/9 and ordered a 39...I've had to order 40 in other brands and still have issues with fit)CONS-Though I ordered the correct size, I would like more air to circulate around my feet. If these came in half sizes, I would have considered a 39.5.

I have had my danskos 5 for months now and have worked in a specialty and I'm On My Feet all day. Today, I noticed a large crack running along the entire soul of my Danskos shoe. After hearing such high reviews from multiple sources including nurses and doctors who have all raved about these shoes, I feel a little let down and disappointed, maybe I just got a bad pair? I currently don't have enough money to replace them at the moment, I did find them comfortable once broken in after about a month.

I always wanted to get a Dansko pair of shoes. My foot doesn't hurt when I walk with them, I have a tall arch and some metatarsal fatigue.The XP sole is very comfortable however, after using vital for several hours, the upper toe area and the upper area of my foot rub against the shoe because the xp insole elevates the foot. I advice that you get one size larger if you order the xp insole.I had taken the xp sole out and wore it with my own insoles with high arch, my foot had more room, however, it was hurting in different spots. So it didn't work, after a while, I experienced foot pain. I was so excited to get this brand! Oh well, they are cute and practical I have to admit it. That is my personal experience and review.

My wife had worn Danskos in the past, but decided to try another similar brand/style, which she asked for as a Christmas gift. She had tried some on at a local retailer and decided she liked them. I purchased them here on Amazon (the local retailer didn't have the color she wanted), but after wearing them around the house for a short time, she decided they just weren't as comfortable as the Danskos. I returned the first pair and purchased these for her. She says they fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box.These were a little more expensive than the other brand she had chosen, but well worth the money. Her previous pair lasted a long time. (Personally, I think they are still fine and she just wanted a pair with tooled leather, but I'll just go ahead and play along with the "worn out" story.)I would definitely recommend these shoes. The only downside is that they make her a little taller than me. :-)

Correct size but extremely tight for my wide flat feet. I got these so they would give me arch support but I'm in pain after a few mins of wearing them. Everyone else with normal feet think they are incredibly comfortable. I unfortunatly, have abnormal feet. I tried stretching them out for 3 days with a wooden shoe block but still it hurts my feet.

Fit as expected. I made a mistake purchasing these. The non slip soles are different than ones I have purchased in the past, and it's been a major issue. I've slipped A LOT even when the floor is barely wet or greasy. The weave of the non slip is tighter and smaller than the cross hatch pattern ones I had before, so food gets imbedded too easily turning these shoes into a slip hazard even more so. They wore out very quickly, I noticed the soles worn down within the first two months. I'm on my feet and moving a lot, but this particular style, just crashed and burned for me. I am going back to my old style dansko.

They took about a week of full time work to brake in at first I thought I should have bought a wide, because if my bunions but they broke in just fine. I'm really happy I bought them.i miss them when I'm not wearing them and makes all my toms and Nike's feel like garbage. Don't hesitate just buy them!

Sizing has changed. Still a great shoe but fits much smaller and isn’t as attractive a shoe.
