Cleat set up is important, but only takes around 20 min, and requires thread lock and a torque wrench. cleats have not slipped from initial position. Coming to these from spd pedals the click in and out is the same just bigger, so they are easier to get in and out of, other than that they are single sided. Feels very secure, no pulling out even at low setting, no tipping to the side. Have not noticed any squeaking.
