I just received these filet gloves and since the temperature just plummeted where I live, it may be a few weeks before I try them out cleaning fish. They are very comfortable and fit snug so it is will be easy to work with them on. The grip is fantastic and I look forward to seeing how well they grip when cleaning fish. I would think they would also be great if kept in a kitchen for opening stubborn jars and would have a great grip working with tools on cars and such. They have fiberglass and steel wire in them to help with the cut resistance and have an ANSI A6 rating which I looked up and posted a picture of. These should be more than safe when working with sharp knives.

Grandson is learning to fillet and these gloves are perfect for him. Well made and durable. Light weight yet strong.

Very good fish cleaning glove to protect Your hands from cuts and cold, etc. Nice to have a glove on when using electric knife. Note: if fish not real cold it is hard to filet it- fish should be on ice at least one hour before trying to filet so meat is firm and you can cut close to bones to get maximum meat.

They were too small. Large were not large. Too bad as i liked the gloves but had to return them.

These gloves helped process our salmon. They improved my grip on slippery sockeyes and helped with controlling a fillet knife. For clean up, I simply wash my gloved hands in fresh water and remove to dry. I ordered extra large. The gloves are tight to put on but once they are on they do not inhibit movement. I got through 35 salmon without any band aids this year!

Normally I would where no gloves or some work gloves but I’m glad I gave these a shot. These fit really well where my work gloves are either too tight or too long in the fingers. These also have a great grip on slimy fish. They’re fairly thin and have great feeling dexterity. I’ve gotten lucky before by no serious injuries before but my luck is running out so I’m glad I’m not chancing it anymore. Great quality and value. I’d get again.

To tight buy a bigger size than you normally wear I gave a three star review originaly because the size runs small and they fit too tight, however Kastking reached out to me and sent a new pair one size larger. Like I said originally just get a larger size than you normally wear and you'll love them.

Nice gloves for handling fish, good grip, only problem is they have a textile smell to them, it’s quite strong, otherwise they work well!
