This thermometer is exactly as shown in the photos. It is very lightweight and easy to store and use. I tested it for accuracy and it works perfectly. I recommend you store it in a cool dark place and/or take the batteries out to avoid damaging it, which can happen when you don't use it regularly. (It happened to me with another brand digital thermometer I owned.) The temperature reading is easy to see and the red light makes it easy to tell when there is a fever. Otherwise, the green light is for normal temps. I'm guessing the yellow is for a low grade fever. It works very quickly and easily, and is a great value for themoney. I highly recommend this thermometer.

I really like this thermometer thus far. My last one required you to actually touch the forehead and drag it along the skin. It also got stuck in centigrade and I couldn’t get it back to Fahrenheit. This one doesn’t require you to touch your forehead and after a few uses it appears to be accurate. It’s easy to use and I can see that it would be useful for kids or infants.

Great thermometer. So easy to use, very convenient that it comes with the batteries needed. Instructions are helpful and easily explained. The different functions are good as well. My kids enjoy checking the air temperature and water temperature. The reading seems very accurate to me, I have checked the same child several times in the space of 10mins and the reading was the same each time. Great item for such a great price.
