What are the benefits of compression vests?

It can help the child feel calm and focused! The pressure and weight of the vest acting on the child helps provide deep touch pressure, which has been shown to release serotonin and calm the nervous system.

How do I pick the right size

We recommend that you refer to the size chart we provide and measure your child from shoulders to waist and chest. And choose according to your size and your child's age and weight. If your child wears a larger size, you should buy the next size up

How long should you keep it on for?

It is recommended to stick with your occupational therapist for a personally designed wear schedule, but generally it can be 20-30 minutes of wear with 20-30 minutes of rest, or can be based on the duration of the activity.

How Much Weight Should I Use?

Be sure to check with your occupational therapist about the weight of an individual design but generally, it can be 5% of your child’s body weight!

How do I wash/clean this vest?

We recommend spot cleaning or a delicate, cold water machine wash and then hang to dry.
