Fantastic!!!
Really good price compared to 2XU online shop, comfy and excellent compression. Really worked after my long runs legs felt refreshed and not achy like they usually do.

Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for...
*** UPDATE *** These feel better the more I wear them, and they also seem to wash very well. This is only after wearing these for a single run, so take from it what you will... I've been running for about 6/7 months and have several pairs of running tights, although none of them are proper 'compression' wear. After completing my first 10k and feeling pretty sore afterwards, I decided to treat myself to these, well aware that they were about three times the price of any of my existing tights. The 2XU size guide states that I should be MEDIUM, but I decided to contact 2XU directly by e-mail and get them to confirm. Sure enough, based on my measurements (6ft, 79kg) they agreed that a MEDIUM would be correct. Apparently, the 'tall' version of some of the sizes equates to a higher rise in the waist and an extra 1.5 inches on the legs. The first thing that struck me is how tight they are. I have a couple of pairs of compression socks and these are as tricky to get on as the socks are. The ankles are really small and pretty difficult to get over your heel but once done, the rest is easier. I read on a running blog that the first time people wear compression clothing they assume they need the next size up, which is a mistake. I have to admit that I was almost ready to return these for the LARGE before reading this (and many other articles confirming it). Once on and adjusted, they're extremely tight but not uncomfortable (quite the opposite, in fact). The material is stretchy - and almost feels that you have to stretch it too much in order to the tights onto your legs - but is fairly thick and doesn't seem that it would easily tear or rip. There's huge debate in running circles over whether men should wear shorts over the top of running tights. Personally, I don't wear shorts over the top because it's (A) stupid, (B) uncomfortable, and (C) my choice what I wear and nobody else's concern...the thick material of the 2XU tights means they're definitely not see through and it's thick enough to smooth out any unnecessary bulges rather than accentuate them, if you get my drift. The road's a track, not a catwalk. That said, I make sure my running top is long enough to ensure I don't accidentally give any old ladies heart attacks (LOL). 2XU add an antibacterial agent into the material which they state keeps them 'fresh' for longer. The product label even goes as far to say that there's no need to wash these after every use. I only ever wear my running tights for a single outing but I have to admit that after last night's run (a 7.2k slow run in about 15 degrees C), they do seem to be still fresh out of the box. I'm taking this on trust and shall be washing them after every 2/3 runs to begin with, and see how I get on. On the subject of washing, the care instructions sate (once you've managed to decode all the symbols) that they should be machine washed on a delicate/wool cycle of 30 degrees and left to dry naturally. When I wash mine, I'll also be reducing the spin speed as an extra precaution. Like I said, one swallow does not make a summer so only time will tell how good these really are but first impressions are excellent. My 7k run in them last night felt great and to be honest, I didn't want to take them off after I'd got home - joking aside, the general recommendation is that you keep any compression wear on for at least 30 minutes after exercise so it can work to reduce muscle soreness and aid recovery. Oh, and they also come with 1yr warranty. What's not to like?

Good Quality but didn't fit right for me
I'm 5' 9'' and whilst the length was good, they were just a bit too tight, (I'm approx a 33' waist) Will see how the Large fits

Highly recommended for swim and runs

Love how tight these fit, really good compression support. I like them on the small side for max support, not loose. To me, these TR2 are not quite as compressive as the MCS or Hyoptik, but still they are much better than many others I’ve tried. They’re really comfortable. I wear them while running on a treadmill at the gym, typically 2 to 5 miles per session. I’ve noticed increased endurance since starting to wear compression pants (not just running tights)... I run faster speeds for a longer time while running as compared to not wearing compression when running. Additionally I will wear them to help with recovery after a run, or sometimes to sleep in or under my regular pants if I’m feeling sore the next day after running. At 46 years old, reduced recovery time is an important factor that helps me to run more frequently with less aches and pains. The first few times I put true compression pants on, it took me a little extra time trying to figure out how to get them all the way on because they’re so tight. Eventually I learned a few tricks to make it easier (notice I didn’t say easy). But they’re worth an extra minute to put them on, as with all good compression pants. Besides 2XU brand, I have numerous styles of compression pants including Virus, CW-X, Nike, PRS, and Compressionz. These 2XU TR2 are one of my favorites due to how much support they give. Other favs are 2XU MCS, 2XU Hyoptik, Virus CO29 and also the relatively unknown PRS brand compression pants. All of these offer really good compression support and I wear them all regularly. I don’t size up on any of these and wear a size small in all of them for max support. I’m relatively slender and have a somewhat naturally fit build, not overly muscular, but not a stick figure either... @ 5’7, 157lbs, I typically wear 30-32 pants and I’m wearing a size small in these 2XU TR2 compression pants. Some might feel they are too small. But again, I prefer much compression. You may prefer to size up a bit.

2XU makes the best men's tights, but because these are thicker and made of a more old-school fabric (nylon spandex), you'll use more force putting these on than like a pair of UA tights. After wearing these alot and switching out to my UAs I almost ripped them because these by their nature take a little more man-handling. I do love the extra support and motion-return these give. I own several pairs and are always my first choice as my workout base-layer under my shorts.
