Duuuuuuude very nice laptop
Doing great so far, i obviously had to upgrade the ram/memory whatever you wanna call it lol i play rust and it functions well graphics are amazing to me, price is decent for a starter laptop for gaming easy to navigate its actually a really impressive pc, but upgrade the memory capacity and its even better, color is great keyboard lights are cool idk what else to say im old so dont take much to impress me with new tech but id recommend this pc to any one its fast as heck and quite battery is still lacking but i think thats most laptops lol but overall i really dig it and if you know rust then you know it dont take much to crash your pc so thats a huge win for this pc i put in 2 16gb memory sticks for 36 gb it runs flawlessly. Happy gaming!

Fastest Laptop I've Ever Owned
Let me say, this is the fastest laptop (straight out of the box with no modifications) I have ever owned. I've been able to play Xbox games on it with no delay and downloads happen almost immediately. I did a test between my Lenovo Ideapad and this Asus Tuf Gaming laptop with the same download of a zip file; the Lenovo took 2 and a half minutes to download and this Asus took 45 seconds!!!! The only cons I have so far the battery doesn't last but honestly, that is expected when gaming and running the fan on performance mode. Then the outside of the laptop looks like metal but it's definitely not, it's plastic, and I'm not sure this would hold up to a drop like like it shows in the 6th image. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for entry level gamers and students. No problems at all running multiple programs including streaming Hulu from the app and PowerPoint at the same time.

Good product for the price
Great laptop for gaming, sound quality isn’t bad at all, great product for the price, does get little hit so recommend buying external cooling. Also recommend upgrading ram. Works great for WOW or 3d slicing

Great laptop with just a few issues.
Works great...fast, quiet, almost no noise, full size keyboard, very light, high quality graphics. We bought 2, one my wife uses because she needs Microsoft Word for editing her dissertation. Word for an Apple is NOT the same and doesn't allow full editing. Mine is used by for Shopify mail order business. It worked great for about a year. Now, it crashes using Shopify with Edge or Chrome. We haven't tried Mozilla yet. I paid to have it trouble shooted and the technicians said there is an issue with Shopify and Windows 11...bummer.

In ASUS I trust
I have become an ASUS user since 2017 when I bought an FX53VD (the ancestor of TUF series) and now, 8 years later, I buy a new TUF. I really like the solid structural design and the robust technical performance of ASUS gaming laptops, after all my senior ASUS laptop has worked 8 years and is still running well now. By the way, I would like to mention that I use this laptop for daily office work only (I don’t play video games). The reason for buying a thick-and-heavy gaming laptop is that since say 2020, the frequency of CPUs has been insanely increased by the manufacturers while the chassis of light-and-thin laptops remains the same substantially: those useless laptops heat up very easily and the cooling fans sound like helicopters. With an ASUS gaming laptop, you can rarely hear the cooling fans running when you only do normal office work, and that is perfect for me who is sensitive to noises. One last tip: uninstall the Armoury Crate (a programmr developed by ASUS to control the power and cooling fans) and install G-Helper instead!

Medium to low performance at best. Almost non-existent battery life. Blue screen of death!!!
EDIT 2/5/2025**7-8 months into owning this laptop and I am getting blue screen. The prices of this is far to high considering all the issues thus far** I don't know why this is part of the TUF gaming series. This is laptop is built with some of the cheapest materials you could possibly put on a laptop. The GPU performance and the battery life on this is almost non-existent a full charge will maybe get you 45 minutes worth of gameplay. For this price range I was expecting something a bit better. This laptop should be priced around the $300 mark. It just lacks in absolutely every regard. You would be better off buying a non-gaming laptop in this price range. It would probably perform as well if not better. Update 9/22: Bluescreening and crashes have only gotten worse. I would not recommend picking up this laptop unless it is sub 100 bucks. Even then you'd still be wasting your money. 1000000000% not acceptable quality. Update 10/16 Issues have only gotten worse with every passing day. This laptop is nearly inoperable in every regard. In order to get it to run I have to reboot it 10-30 times just to get it running once. Even then it powers down randomly and I have to go through the entire process again. I would not buy this lap top again unless it was 25 bucks or so. Again EVEN THEN it's a pile of junk for that money. Update 10/25: This laptop is 100% non functioning at this point. I could understand if I bought it 7 or 8 years ago. Ram and hard drive are both brand new so I know it's not that. I'm still making payments on a laptop that is totally bricked. I will never purchase a laptop from Asus ever again. Wish I could get a refund. Nothing about what happened with this laptop is ok. At all... DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OVER PRICED UNRELIABLE LAPTOP!!!!

Very good entry-level gaming pc
Very good price for performance, build quality is pretty good, webcam is horrible though but isnt an issue for me, the screen is smooth and fast, its pretty heavy compared to casual laptops as expected. Also it can get a little loud at times because of the fans but you should expect that when buying a gaming laptop.

Just Buy it (v. 2024)
So glad I got this. I didn't need it for anything intense, this is a casual personal laptop, I'm not bitcoin mining or running enormous spreadsheets. Mostly just watching youtube and doing a bunch of Zoom meetings. After setting up windows 11 and making sure the laptop was generally functional, I upgraded the RAM to 32GB which resolved some initial slowness. With 8GB of RAM out of the box it was running at 66% usage. For a new laptop that's not good, but not a problem for me. If I was going to upgrade RAM anyway, I'm glad it only came with 8GB. Saved me money in the end. After updating windows, updating the drivers, and updating the BIOS, this thing is better than what I could have hoped for. Battery life seems acceptable and the keyboard is actually RGB, which I didn't realize. I thought it was just going to be a static white keyboard backlight, so the colors were a pleasant surprise. I haven't tested the gaming capabilities yet. I am not expecting it to run something like Helldivers II, but I could easily play Skyrim with the higher resolution graphics. Will update this review once I test gaming but, 10/10 if you need a practical and reliable laptop that will likely last you a long time. Edit: It runs Helldivers II seamlessly, no lag, fantastic rendering. Buy it.
