Good method.
Steady progress can be made following this book: short examples, sensible method. Not too wordy - works well. My daughter (7 years finds it not too painful which is the most one can hope for!)

Thoughtfully written.
I can see that my students are improving their sight reading through using this book. Rhythmical, technical,bowing etc challenges are repeated throughout the pieces and I can see that this 'drilling' through musical, nice to play, pieces really helps the students to enhance their sight reading skills. Useful book, worth buying!

Can't beat this series for thoroughness and progression. The new edition has lots of extra material and practice for each stage. An invaluable aid for exam preparation.
