The stress and frustration of buying this product was not worth the savings
I’ve bought a lot of other vevor products in the past with good luck, but this one didn’t hold up. The filter started leaking after about two weeks where the two halves connect. Vevor’s customer support was no help—after five days of back-and-forth emails and sending them everything they asked for, they just told me to “check the seals” instead of offering parts or a real fix. I ended up returning it and getting a Hayward filter from my local pool shop instead. It has a 3-year warranty, easy-to-find parts, and performs way better. Wish I’d gone with quality from the start.

VEVOR cartridge pool filter - all good.
Time to replace my 25 year old Pentair cartridge pool filter. Props to pentair to have a quality product that lasted that long, but the filter cartridges are now hard to find and really expensive, and because of the age that situation isnt going to get any better. Liked everything about the Pentair, but changing cartridges was always a PITA too (getting a good seal with that funky stainless steel clamp. The new Pentairs are $1500-$1700 (wow). I've purchased several other VEVOR products and had a good experience, and this cartridge pool filter is no different. Everything feels like quality, and it came fully assembled so all I needed to do was cut the old Pentair out and replace in same way with the VEVOR unit. A filter is pretty passive so everything worked great. As always, time will tell, but I dont expect any surprises (nor do I expect 25 years usage) and it looks like filter replacement will be much easier on this updated VEVOR unit going forward. All good and saved a BUNCH versus the name brand.

Great buy. Works very well for my inground 20,000 gallon salt water pool.
I bought this 325 cubic foot filter media cartridge filter to replace a 120 cubic foot one that I had hooked to my 20,000 inground pool. We are running a 3/4hp motor and it’s a salt water pool. I have to say this thing is SO MUCH BETTER… I went from having to clean my filter with clean water every 5-7 days to not having to touch it for a month. Even then it’s not that bad with clean water. If you let the water get a little green. Shock it, let it run over night, let it sit and then vacuum it and this thing will take it all and still do its job without issue. Take your time and hook it up properly. I put a shut off valve before and after the filter housing. I also put a bypass around the filter housing so the pool can still circulate while the filter is being cleaned. I will tell you it does take longer to clean 4 filters rather than 1, but having to do that only once a month rather than every five days is a HUGE relief as we are currently raising an infant and don’t have a lot of spare time. I live in FL so this summer we are enjoying the pool. It’s nice to be able to actually enjoy the pool and not have to work on it nearly every couple of days to keep it going. This picture is from me running it with the pool a little green for a full month. It washed out easily with a water hose and a pressure nozzle. Pool was only green like that due to all the rain we have been having and our pool is outside and uncovered. I had not had time to chlorinate the pool for over a week. Those filters are like that after vacuuming three times over a full month.

HIGHLY recommend, and would buy again!
Been running this filter for about four months. I’ve had my home for over ten years, and the pool came with the house. I didn’t know this and I bet you didn’t either, but pool filters are rated not only on square footage, but flow (GPM) as well! I always thought “2 inch input, 2inch output, unless the filter needed to be cleaned”, at least I thought the pressure gauge indicated “low flow, time to clean”! I was running a 150 square foot filter before buying this one, at the advice of my pool store, based on the size of my pool. Water clarity and algae were a constant issue before the filter ‘needed to be cleaned’. That said, many people told me, “maybe you’re not flipping you pool enough each day”. So, I investigated the solution, and found out that “no matter how much your pumps GPM is, you need a filter that ALLOWS that much flow. That said, I installed this filter, and get rave reviews from the pool store every week I get my water tested! The gauge clearly indicates water flow and ‘need to clean’! My pool always looks like the water just came out of the faucet EVERY day! Although the filter is EXTREMELY easy to clean, the only ‘drawback’ is the band that holds the top to the base - you MUST make sure the two halves are pressed together BEFORE attempting to tighten the band (use a 14mm socket wrench)! At 420 square foot, this is a MUST HAVE for any pool owner - you WON’T be disappointed with this purchase, and it is MUCH cheaper than the big name brand filters that are MUCH smaller!

Works well easy install
It’s been a month and I love it. I switched from a 40 year old Hayworth DE filter that I was backwashing every day and disassembled every week with forty nuts and bolts to clean it out. Now just a quick collar removal to rinse the filter every couple weeks and only takes 15 minutes from start to finish. The pressure has stayed at 7.5 psi and has great flow. Very happy. Installing was easy just needed a couple of new fittings to make the swap. The in let/ outlet are in different positions

Sold unit!
Have had it for about three weeks now and it works like a champ. I'm so happy how much I saved than going with a more expensive brand. Read the instructions and installed it myself. The unit itself feels solid and not cheap made. Fits standard 2 inch piping. The intake pipe is higher then the outlet pipe fyi.
