Fun, Colorful, Springy, with REAL Brush Tips!
I'm a calligrapher and calligraphy teacher, and always on the lookout for new tools to test out, share on Instagram, and tell my students about. When I saw these Zig Clean Color Brush Pens, I knew I had to try them.Pros:- Inexpensive- Lots of colors to choose from- Smaller brush tip than some other (refillable) brush pens (like Pentel Colorbrush), which isn't in itself *better*, but the variety is nice, and they allow you to write smaller than larger brushes- Display/hanger case acts as a nice storage caseāthe pens sort of snap into place, and stay!Cons:- Not refillable '- Some colors perform better than others (for example, the cobalt blue brush feels musher and harder to control than some of the others)- Unknown lightfastness (probably fugitive, so you don't want to use these on any artwork that you want to display on the wall and expect to last!)- Real brushes (with bristles) are much harder to control than felt-tip brush markers. But they allow for all kinds of wonderful effects that brush markers won't give you.Plus if you can learn to control a brush, it makes markers feel SO easy! 'I like these brush pens a lot. They're a little stiffer than the Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pens, so perhaps a bit easier for beginners to control, but not *better* or *worse* than those pens; just different. One complaint: this 12-pen set doesn't have a good deep violet -- just a "light violet." (Here's a quick piece/chart I whipped up to show the colors of this set: [...])Also, some of the colors are a little drier than others, I haven't had them long enough to know how long they will retain their color and wetness, but so far, I like these guys a lot!

BEST PURCHASE EVER
There are the most amazing things I have ever purchased!!! Although they are not incredibly cheap, they are definitely worth it! The colors of all the markers are very bright and vibrant. They also blend very well with water and you can mix the colors together by touching the tip-off the pens together so the colors blend together. By doing this you get an even wider color array, and it will not premaritally make your marker that color. The brush tip is very convenient because you can make very small precise strokes as well as thicker ones. The only minimal complaint I have is the purple pen doesn't blend with water as well as the rest of the colors and the original stoke can sometimes be seen after applying water. Overall, these pens are fantastic for water color, or even just drawing in general!

Excellent!
I love these brush pens! They are wonderful for lettering and blend beautiful with or without water. Some of the pens didn't flow as well as the others initially, but if you just keep using them (for like 30 seconds) the ink starts to flow better and color comes out wonderfully. Love these and I only wish I had gotten a bigger pack, so I could have a bit more of color options. I definitely recommend these!

Fantastic pens
Fantastic pens for a newbie hand letterer! Easy to control, but with high quality that I am sure I will grow into. I've been practicing with the brown, in order to preserve colors I will likely use more often, though it is still a lovely, rich color. The full set of 12 are gorgeous, saturated inks with a luxurious feel, allowing for smooth ligatures and invisibly going back and widening lines while the ink is still wet. I have small handwriting, and have always preferred the smallest brushes in watercolor sets, and these allow me to make beautifully thin lines, and easily thicken them with gentle pressure. For reference, the pencil lines in the attached photo are from a (lightly applied) .3mm mechanical pencil.

they are average at best! Colors lacking the brilliance I'm looking for.

These are wonderful, vibrant Watercolor Markers. You will love this brand!!
I make handmade cards as a hobby & decided teach myself to watercolor for the first time!I had watched countless YouTube videos and found many greeting cards on Instagram using these specific watercolor brush pens! These were so easy to use as a beginner either direct to wet paper or put the color from the pens onto an acrylic block, add water & then apply to watercolor paper. The colors are so vibrant and smooth to work with! I love working with them! The pictures that I posted are my first attempts to watercolor with these pens! I am very satisfied with their results and look forward to when I can add other colors to my craft supply! You will love these Watercolor Brush Pens! Take it from my experience & get the largest size package that you can afford because you will want all of the colors!!

Nice Brush tip Watercolor Pens
I make greeting cards and decided to try these pens after seeing a review on Facebook. The brush tip is great, allowing from the thinnest of lines to a wide area of color. The colors in this 12 pen set are a nice variety. and for me, the brush tip is better than a hard felt tip marker. They also blend nicely with other colors or just water. I'd like to add to the set, unfortunately the 24 pen set includes all the colors in the 12 pen set and I don't want duplicates. I will have to purchase individual pens from an art supply store.

Tombows are all the rage right now amoungst the BuJo (Bullet Journal) Community, but I wanted something different. These are it. They are soft and brush-like, not a marker. They have rich, juicy colors and go on smoothly. They work beautifully in my BuJo for designs and for Brush Lettering. I am glad I opted for these, the bleed thru is Much Less than a marker.
