It was well worth it in the end; the wire reaches from my laptop all the way over to the other side of the room to my TV, running around the room under the carpet. When my mate came around and brought his Xbox over it plugged right in and worked perfectly. No messing around trying to clear a space near my TV as we just put it on the desk where my laptop was, and we didn't have to waste time putting the right plugs into the right holes on the TV. The quality of the cable becomes apparent from the moment you open it: gold plated ends and a healthy thickness and feel to the wire. This did the job perfectly. I've had it for over a year now and it's still in perfect condition.There was no degradation of signal compared to using more expensive cables - seriously it does not make a difference until you get well over 10m lengths. However, after attaching it to the necessary devices it does not offer a stable picture. The signal stutters constantly and every 10-20 seconds (if not more frequently) the picture drops out completely and is replaced by static.
