Q: Having trouble keeping my chlorine level up 24hrs after initial use. Any thoughts?

When you put SeaKlear in the pool you have to shock it to make it work plus it depletes the chlorine. On occasion you may need a second shock as well. Have the chlorine level checked BEFORE you put in SeaKlear so you know whether 1 shock or 2 is required. I've never had a problem with it and one dose (1.5 capfuls in my case for an 18K gallon pool) gets rid of any and all mustard algae. For the summer I just keep the chlorine levels high so nothing bad will grow. I can read a newspaper in the deep end so all is good.

Q: How long after use can I go in the pool?

If the water is green we usually wait 48 hours.
