I love it. It’s easy to clean. It’s very well-made. It heats up quickly there’s a light that tells you when it’s ready and it’s a floating that means your sandwich or your steak or your crunch wrap whatever you’re putting in there doesn’t get squeezed out when you close the lid. Do you understand it’s open in the back so the top just sits on the bottom there’s a spring holding it together so you can put a big thing in there if you’d like it’s compact it’s attractive. It wiped right clean even after it was cooled off I love it.

I haven’t written a review in a while, but I’m impressed with this grill. Now the first thing that we have to make clear is that I only bought this appliance for one reason and that is to make sandwiches. My old sandwich grill was cheap and worn out and went to the old Appliance graveyard so I began researching for another one. I looked at hundreds of different grills on Amazon and read all of these reviews and I was like wait a minute I don’t need all of this. I just wanna be able to make a quick, tasty sandwich, maybe make a Cuban. I’m not cooking any steaks, eggs, bacon anything like that plus I did not wanna have a mess to clean up. I mean, who doesn’t use cheese on a sandwich and every time I would have a mess with the old grill when it came to cleaning up the cheese, that woul inevitably ooze off and end up a hard sticky mess on the grill plate. Well, this grill has an amazing plate. It is truly nonstick. You can wipe it with a paper towel after every use and it comes just as clean as it was when you bought it I’m telling you if you want something just to make sandwiches with and you want an easy cleanup at a reasonable price get this Chef man grill. You will not be sorry.. You might even save a few bucks!

My primary use has been Cuban sandwiches, and the results have been consistently good — proper press, good heat transfer, and the ribbed grill plates leave clean marks on the bread that give the finished sandwich a genuinely professional look. It cooks quickly, which in practice means you stop noticing the things it doesn't have. Two quirks worth flagging before you cook your first sandwich. First, the top half has an adjustment flange that needs to be set before you plug the unit in. Get this wrong and the top plate sits at an angle, which turns your panini press into something that will flatten one side of your sandwich while barely touching the other. It takes about ten seconds to set correctly and needs to be done when the unit is cool to the touch — just make it part of the routine before every use. Second, there is no temperature control. You plug it in, it heats up, and that's the setting. For most sandwiches this is fine, and the fixed temperature actually performs well across different applications. For those who like to dial in heat levels for different bread types or ingredients, the omission is noticeable. At this price point it's an acceptable trade-off — just worth knowing going in. For the money, the Chefman delivers. My hot sandwich intake has increased considerably since it arrived, which is probably the most honest endorsement I can offer. Recommend.

Easy to use panini press! It does get extremely hot and can burn the bread quickly if not watching closely. But it heats up fast, and is easy to clean.

I love this sandwich press. It is a lunchtime game changer. Heats quickly but evenly. The heavy grill plates hold heat and the nonstick surface makes cleaning fast and easy. I have a small kitchen so I appreciate the small amount of shelf space it takes.

this panini press has no heat modulation or On/Off switch. it's turned on at full heat when plugged in. it heats up quick and if you zone out while toasting something it can burn the bread.

This item is so versatile. Works very well for making sandwich melts and folds flat to become a grill. Cleaning is as easy as using a single sheet of paper towel to wipe down. I use it more than my toaster oven now.

This panini press is very useful, not just for making quick hot sandwiches, but the option to lay the lid flat and use both surfaces as a grill is really good for cooking burgers, sausages and meat. My only reservation with the product is that it doesn't have an 'on/off' switch, which would be really convenient. Instead you have to plug it in to start it and unplug it to turn it off. There is also no temperature setting. BUT neither of those features make it a problem to use, it works well, heats quicky and cooks evenly, and those missing features help to make an affordable product.

Es de esas cosas que cuando las tienes en tu casa por primera vez sientes que es un lujo, en mi familia estábamos cansados de nuestra sandwichera tradicional para panes cuadrados (Bimbo) ya que con el tiempo la superficie había acabado muy rayada y la comida (especialmente el queso) se quedaban pegados con mucha facilidad y costaba un montón limpiarlo, así que decidí comprar algo diferente, debo decir que fue de las mejores inversiones que hice para mi cocina en este ultimo año, los panes caben tranquilamente, aunque cabe resaltar que para que entren 4 como muestra una de las fotos hay que encontrarle la forma ya que ahí si quedan muy apretados, la comida que queda pegada es muy fácil de limpiar con un paño de microfibra húmedo, también me ayudo con una sopladora/aspiradora de mano para eliminar esas migajas que quedan por ahí. En general un producto 10/10 que toda cocina necesita.
