Whether it reaches the top of your pool or not depends on how deep your pool is. Mine is 52” high and the top step is about 3” below the top of the pool. I would recommend putting some of the rubber strips like you use in the bathtub to keep from slipping on the surface of the steps. The vinyl gets very slippery when wet and can easily cause a fall. **Q: Can I use water to weigh it down?
