3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Vinyl Wrap 2 Inch Wide Tape Roll (2 Inch x 84 Inch)

Great. Using it for the leading edge of my horizontal tail surface of my vintage Cessna perfect for this application.

I used this to protect the paint on my 2024 Escape over a year ago. I put a mag mount antenna on the top of the vehicle and I have not seen any damage to the paint or to the top surface of this tape front the mag mount. I now have a little over 13,000 miles on the vehicle.

I used this material to protect the paint on the chain stays of my new mountain bike and this works really well. It’s not easy to put on without bubbles and wrinkles so it took me a few tries but it works and is cheaper than buying a pre cut kit which I imagine is not much easier to put on. It also comes off easily if you mess up without impacting the paint. I like it so far.

It works. I got it trimmed and applied to my bike top tube so a top tube bag wouldn't wear into the clear coat or worse. I even got it installed with no air bubbles after a sufficient number of tries (3 I think). This roll is probably enough to wrap the entirety of the bike, but, that is my error for getting so much. Just wish it was a little easier to manipulate for clean installation

This tape is great. our dog scratched the paint off out back door, I repainted it and used this tape where his paws landed on the door and it works great, can't ever see it on the door. WIN WIN

This works great as frame tape for bicycles. I put it in all the places that typically get scratches and dings, such as under the down tube and on the back side of the seat tube.

Good frame protection from rocks and debris

Great for bike chain stays and other frame rub points, like under bag straps. Easy to cut and apply. Has stayed on and worked fine for a month so far.

Works well - wish it came in a variety of widths.

As other buyers have noted, the edges on this product are rough. It almost appears as though the seller had a much wider roll that they simply cut into slimmer rolls, leaving the edges frayed. So, if you're looking for something that is entirely hidden and discrete, this isn't it. That said, the product serves its purpose and would be great for a bike frame or heavy traffic areas on vehicle paint. Peals off nicely without hurting car paint.

This sort of stuff is always expensive. This was enough to do one bike adequately.
