I must have missed this fantastic album the first time around its just sublime, playing it with Cambridge axc25/axr100 monitor audio silver 100 7g its a masterpiece. I must have played this through 3 times a week ever since I bought it 5 Stars!

Probably worth it for Prayers for Rain and Paradise Circus alone. Shame it doesn't include the remixes available on places like Spotify - Gui Boratto mix of Paradise Circus is great. If you like their other stuff, you'll likely like this too. I find it difficult to review albums - if I like it, what does that tell you? If I say it's great, what does that mean? Anyhow, I like seeking out artists who are doing their own thing and growing music; doing something I've not heard before. Massive Attack have always done that and the acid test is "are they still doing it or have they gone stale like some of my faves from the past"? They are still pushing boundaries and doing new things so that's good enough for me. The fact that some of the tracks are gorgeous as well is icing. Too expensive on Amazon at the moment (£14.98) however.

I missed this album at the time, and only recently heard the track 'Babel', which pushed me to buy it. Very strong collection of songs, but I sense that its slightly less trip'y vibe has off-put some fans who were anticipating a Mezzanine Mk II.

Hugely enjoyable soundscape. Loved it's otherworldly feel. Variety of vocals great too.

Brilliant album........ how did this pass me by?🥴

I feel I have pretty eclectic tastes when it comes to music - open to listen to and enjoy all sorts, so when I heard Paradise Circus as the theme Tune to the new Luther Series I immediately had to find out where I could get it and hear more of the same genre ... 5 starts for Paradise Circus - a moody end engaging song that just keeps you right there from start to end. Sadly, minus 3 start for the rest of the CD/Album ... D-U-L-L dull ... as ditch-water. Not my cup of tea at all - sorry!

i couldn't find this album in real life. but you had it. thanks. i should have just come to you first rather than maintaining hope that i could find a fairly recent album from a fairly well known group in a god damned record store. frig. remember when you could just buy a cd? they'd have the artists entire catalog often. or you could even special order import cd singles from germany and japan and france and the uk. now you have to special order a damn album from a damn known band. god!

Massive Attack han convivido conmigo de manera casi coetánea. cada vez que iba a GB me bajaba con algún single o disco de ellos; se hicieron famosos aquí al del tercer disco como THE PRODIGY, pero los que bailábamos sus temas, los conocíamos desde principios de los 90. Es un disco hecho solo con Daddy G y por supuesto 3D, pero que tiene sus incondicionales como el magistral Horace Andy. Lo recomiendo a todxs lxs fans de su música, solo para ellos. Los eventuales en su mundo, no lo sabrán apreciar. Buen disco, buen packaging y buen diseño, como siempre muy cuidado en sus discos. Ojo, muchos de ellos cambiados en la versión española (para mal, como el Protection o el Blue Lines).
