It appears as if the processing may have been changed. I have compared it next to my wedding ring to show the color variation. Note how closely the last ring guards color is to the gold. I have worn it for 2 years and during that time have had to adjust it quite a few times, it is just not holding the size anymore; other than that everything is still ok, hence the need for replacement. Installation takes some work and requires pliers to clamp it down properly. My biggest tip is to push the center bar upward to tighten the fit and cradle your finger. Once adjusted, it holds my large statement ring perfectly upright without spinning, and it is completely invisible.
