I'd like to do some star trail photography on my Nikon D3200 but the limit is 30s without holding down the shutter on the camera. Does this work?

Hi, I bought this for use with a D5100 and it’s brilliant. Easy to program once you get used to it with exposures up to 99 hours. It’s better than I thought it would be for the money.
