Excellent sonic khz sound generator.
I use this to deter teens and youths at the back of my garden. I use it at 5.5 on dail. I may change this up or down depending on if I feel the teens are being detered or not. So far they do not like it and go away after about 10 minutes. I used all 4 of the supplied speakers covering left to right of my back garden. The speakers do not look like the ones in the product photo, they have a silver dome, but work well. The unit is powered by a 12v dc adapter connected to a smart plug (not supplied). I tried just using 1, then 2 then 3 then 4 speakers and the volume did not decrease, as far as I can tell. The tone is a sine wave. I used an app on my phone 'Spectroid' to detect the sine wave sound, although it can be heard when on 5.5 setting, which I am guessing is about 17 to 22 khz. The when the module is turned on it outputs at a lower frequency, rising to the set frequency, also does the same when swithed off, dropping down in frequency. I dont mind this, but could have an impact on usablity if you want the tone to be 'stealth' and hit a high frequency without detection. The unit is silicon sealed and looks like it will be waterproof. I have covered it with a plastic 'hat' for additional cover. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great for getting rid of birds, dogs and kids
Got this on a geolocation smart plug with each speaker in one corner of my loft, we were plagued by this horrible family of sparrows that just sat on the roof and chirped all day from 4:30 in the morning till sunset, I tried everything including a catapult. Anyway set this between 3 and 4 and birds go away, these nasty creatures no longer sit on our house they sit in my neighbours two up so we don’t hear them through our windows anymore. Set it to between 7 and 8 and dogs stop barking. Move it below 3 for any anti social behaviour. I have two now one I’m going to make portable so we can have some peace and quite from all these ignorant dog owners who purchased a dog during lock down and now no longer care about walking them or even disciplining them. It really is the owners that need to be punished although apparently I can’t do that unfortunately.
