The tablet is good quality, clear and east to set up and use. It’s not excessively large. It retains its charge well and has the ability to have a sim if necessary. You can split the screens when doing work on it which is great for projects. I would highly recommend.

This Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is a cheap and useful tablet, especially if you're looking for something light-duty. I specifically got it to run one of the apps for my OBD2 diagnosis scanner, and it worked perfectly for that purpose. One important thing to note: the app I use is no longer supported on 64-bit systems, so many newer, top-tier Android devices won’t run it. This tablet, however, handled it just fine — a huge plus for me. Beyond that, the tablet has enough power for basic tasks, and the 8.7" screen is great for watching videos or reading. It also comes with LTE support, which adds a lot of flexibility for on-the-go use. That said, don’t expect high-end performance. It’s not built for heavy multitasking or demanding apps. But if you need something affordable for diagnostics, video streaming, web browsing, or casual use, this does the job very well.

It works! I can make voice calls, handy having something portable that I can use for internet and voice calls on the move easier for me to type on and see. I use a Vodaphone Sim chip pay as you go, easy for me to set up. Price good as well. Battery I don't know as I haven't used it much.

I read a great deal, and mainly use 8" tablets since the form factor is ideal for this purpose. Over the years, I have consequently used a huge variety of cheap and expensive small tablets, including vastly over-rated iPad Minis, and this Samsung is the best to date. I have the Samsung Tab A9's predecessor, the Tab A8, and, because of the A8's limitations, I was at first hesitant to buy this A9, but am now delighted to have done so. The A9 is better than the A8 in every respect bar one. It is significantly thicker than the A8, and is in fact quite chunky for a small tablet. However, quite astonishingly, in spite of being thicker, it is in fact lighter than the A8. It also makes up for the added girth with a larger, brighter, sharper and more vibrant display. Both tablets are the same size, but, with narrower bezels on the top and bottom, the A9 is able to have an 8.7" screen. I was able to buy this quite cheaply through Amazon, and the inclusion of LTE at this price point is a huge bonus. Of course using this as a phone on a regular basis would be ludicrous, but when doing a bit of reading in bed or out in the garden, it is useful to have this to make and answer calls as and when appropriate. Incidentally, the added cost of cellular on the iPad mini is £150, more than the entire cost of this tablet, which, for me, puts the relative value of these tablets in perspective.

A massive improvement on my prehistoric S2 Samsung tablet. I had been putting off upgrading it, due to the anticipated stress. But I need not have worried. Using the Smart Switch app was a doddle even for me. All the storage and functionality I need. Light weight too. It can be used to take calls and texts if your phone offers this too. You can also send and receive WhatsApp messages on it. This was all a revelation to me. And all for less than £100 with free next day delivery included. I used the seller XPRESS INT. I have bought three devices from them now and they are so professional and trustworthy. I had a pre sale product query and rang Samsung as well as messaging the seller. It turned out that Samsung were incorrect and the seller was correct!👍 During my research of which item to buy, I came across some dodgy sellers, who were selling used products as new, and also selling products which were incompatible with use in the UK. So please be aware of these pitfalls.

Purchased to use for SkyDemon as a flight navigation assistance. Tested with MS Flight Simulator streaming data into the tablet over WiFi. Had extremely frequent WiFi disconnections (every 30 seconds) and reconnections. Perhaps this isn't noticeable with other apps but was very concerning. A little concerned about taking this up for real so I'll be bringing my current old iPad mini! Managed to fix with software updates and network cache reset to fix - and spend a good hour or two researching the cause / fix. Performance is OK, borderline a bit sluggish, but this is a cheap product so I guess my expectations should be reasonable. These things generally worsen over time so I am not expecting this tablet to last years like the iPad mini did. A decent cheap product for kids to use - but I do definitely recommend spending more if you're looking for quality and performance.

I wanted a tablet with a sim card so I could replace my old mobile and my very old Kindle. I received it by the due date and I am very pleased with its features. The size of the fonts can be adjusted to suit my eyesight. It is easy to use for me and I had the choice of the black font on a yellow background, with the number keys on the same section as the alphabet keys. Much easier than having to skip between the two. The Kindle app was easy to add, is easy to read and I can have a choice of font sizes, with the Samsung A9 tablet being bigger I got to see more of the page when the 2nd largest font was used. The text messaages were set out differently, but I soon got the hang of them. They call keypad is easy to use and I was able to hear my son during our conversation. Samsung contacted me by email, even before the tablet had arrived with tips and tricks to help get me started. I am very pleased with my purchase
