Hopefully, I will not be going back to Coco liners!
First off, it is still Winter in New England. I would have liked to show these felt liners in the trough planters filled with potting soil and plants, but that is still several months away. When the felt liners arrived, I measured them to be sure they were the 30 inch length I had ordered. The length was spot on. The liner material is about 1/8 of an inch thick, which seems sufficient for being supported by a planter.I poured a bit of water in one of them to see how they handled drainage. The water took substantially long to drain from the felt liners than from the coco liners. This might be a plus because the soil in the coco liners was constantly drying out.The color (black) looks fine in the planter (also black), but they do lack the rustic look that the coco liners (light brown) have.I ordered these felt liners because I was tired of having birds from the Spring migration tear apart the coco liners to use as nest materials. Hopefully, that disaster is over.Based on what I have observed, I think that these felt liners are the future of planter liners. I highly recommend them.

Great coconut liner alternative
I have no idea how long these things will actually last, but considering I wind up replacing my coconut ones after every growing season I figured I'd give this a try :)They fit in the 30 inch baskets with no issues and they do allow excess water to seep through so I'm not worried about drowning my plants. The only thing I wish were different is the color- since it's black, it kind of makes the wrought ironwork on the planters obsolete. Eh, small price to pay I guess :)10/10 would recommend!

Didn’t like them
Doesn’t fit as they are not really 24 inches, but smaller. Found better items at Strosniders where I could see the size.

Be sure to check your planter size
These are curved. I thought I could make them fit in a square box-like planter, but the height on the long side is a little short for that. Be sure to get the appropriate size. Overall, the felt seems thick and durable. If you have the right planter for it, it seems like it would work nicely.

This looks good and is well made.
This looked really good as a replacement of the coconut liner. I added the before and after photos to show. Is will not drain as fast as coconut liner, which for this area is good. I am not sure if you can tell but one side is a little higher then the other which worked great with the brick. Looking forward to planting in it, but haven't yet due to the season. I would recommend.

Good felt liners
I'm looking at a few ways to save some money in gardening so I figured rather than buying more coco coir liners I'd give these a try. They're dark colored so they will absorb heat from the sun but slower to drain so they should help with water retention. And since there's not a lot of bits poking out the birds won't destroy them requiring yearly replacement- just dump out, wash and refill

Easy to install and adjust
I’m beginning to think that this is better than the average coco liners. The fabric is easier to cut, if necessary and doesn’t leave a stick smelly mess. These fabric seem to last longer than the others, and look good as well. I really think that i will be making a switch from the traditional pot liners. Plus, I believe that this might be more environmentally friendly.

Not wide enough
- These are made of a stiff felt-like material that seems more durable than coco material and should resist pulling by birds in the spring. So the material is fine. However the way these are made the liner is not wide enough to come to the rim of my wire frame deck railing planters. They are cut with only 1 seam so lay flat for transport but don't naturally expand to fill a box shaped planter without a lot of shoving and folding at the rim. So, while it measures 30 inches when flat, it is more like 26-28 inches when unfolded and pushed down into the planter. So take that into account. And one side is taller than the other but not by enough to come to the rim of the outer edge of the planter.- Maybe would work better in a narrower planter box than mine, which is about 4" wide at the base and 5-6" at the rim.- Not recommended unless narrow box
