Great for Vegetables and Sauces, Not Ideal for Dry Uses
I’ve been using this item regularly for several months, mainly to add flavor to vegetables like spinach and steamed broccoli, and I’ve repurchased it multiple times. Where it works best is with foods that already have some moisture. The powder mixes in easily and effectively turns into a cheese-like coating or sauce. It’s especially useful for vegetables that tend to hold extra water, since it absorbs that moisture rather than making the texture soggier like melted cheese can. The flavor is rich and satisfying, and I often prefer using a slightly heavier amount for a stronger cheese taste. One important limitation is that it doesn’t work well on dry foods by itself. It won’t stick if you try to sprinkle it on something like popcorn unless you add moisture separately. It works better when combined with water rather than acting as a dry seasoning. Nutritionally, it’s about what you’d expect from a cheese powder. It's not quite the same as real cheese, but that’s typical for this type of product. Overall, this is a very effective and convenient option for adding cheese flavor to moist foods, especially vegetables.

Great! Here's my comparison
I am going to compare what I like about this and don't like about this product by comparing it to two other products. Hoosier Hill Farm Cheddar Cheese Powder, Wabash Valley Farms Popcorn Seasoning - "Zesty Cheddar," and Kernel Season's "Nacho Cheddar." I used all three searching for the best tasting cheese popcorn. Taste: Hoosier has the best taste. Like other reviews said, it does taste similar to Kraft mac and cheese. However, I think it is slightly different just reminding me slightly of typical cheese popcorn flavoring (I find that to be a good thing). Wabash tastes pretty good, but I wouldn't exactly call it cheesy flavored. I think the word "zesty" describes it best. It has more of a nacho undertone to it, but it isn't what I would describe as spicy. Maybe I taste more garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika mix than the cheesy flavor in Hoosier. Kernel has the least desirable taste to me. I get too much of a paprika taste or something on that line. It seems to give me heartburn. Overall, I like the taste of Hoosier the best, but the consistency is where I have most of a problem. It doesn't sprinkle easily like Wabash or Kernel, it sticks to my fingers and makes a mess, and I seem to blow through it like crazy because of this. I did the math, and Hoosier does have lower sodium than the others (I am sensitive), but keep in mind that Wabash does have MSG (I'm not sensitive, but some be even though it is prob. a small amount.) I am trying different mixtures to see how they work mixing different amounts of Hoosiers and Wabash. Next, I may try adding a little something to help the stickiness. In the end, Hoosier definitely has the best taste but worst consistency and application. Wabash is second in taste, best in consistency. Kernel has the least desirable taste and I seem to need a lot. I hated Wabash white cheddar. Final note....I love popcorn and love to critique different tastes! Hope this helps with your search for the best cheese flavor for your needs!

Cheeesy... YUM!
Exactly what a cheddar cheese powder should be! Get some noodles, milk, butter and this... boom, Mac n cheese. Great on popcorn, adds extra cheesy to homemade cheese sauce ... cannot wait to use to make chips and whatever else cheese related I can find 😋
