The Classical Guitar Collection (Guitar Score): 48 Great Classical Guitar Solos for Intermediate to Advanced Level Players (Faber Edition)

Its hard for me thesedays to find a collection without a lot of repetition, but this book is great - new composers and some beautiful new pieces. You are never to old to learn something new no matter how long you've been playing or how good you are. Let's face it anything endorsed by Julian Bream is going to be first class anyway!

Excellent range of 48 pieces, many with Julian Breams arrangements. Definitely not for the beginning guitarist although a few pieces are easier. Most of the pieces are more challenging with some at maybe grade 8. All in notation not tab. Love this book, and working my way through it, as many of the pieces are different to those found in the usual compendium books.

Definitely not for beginners. That being said, I love this book. It has excellent music, and the transcriptions are the best I have ever seen. The intro page is extremely helpful, by defining symbols and their meanings. I am really impressed with the selection of music. I'm glad there are no tab scores, and the notational scores are easy to read. I've been playing classical guitar for 50 years, and the music in this book is superb. Julian Bream is one of the best, and so is this book.

Enjoying this collection very much.

I bought it for the fingering suggestions. And it did not disappoint. There are so many wonderful pieces in this book. It is a treasure to be able to work on pieces that have stood the test of time.

Fantástica recopilación de partituras para guitarra clásica. Tiene nivel intermedio. Una colección de partituras básica a buen precio. 100% recomendado.

Good selection of music but all our intermediate and above. Most selections use positions all over the guitar neck. Not for beginners.
