This was an impulse buy as I wanted a small handheld but zoomable camera I could add to my Samsung Phone. I payed with it a few seconds before realizing it has a clear plastic cap on the front you have to remove (DUH!!!) which has an almost invisible sticker on it saying remove.. Based on the zoom position you do have to move the camera in or out to get things focused but that's no big deal. The only minor concern is the Stand which DOES work but it's plastic so not sure how that will hold up long term. Seems ok so far. There's 2 plugs on the end of the cable and it's a "one or the other" choice. depending if you have USB-C or not. The USB-C fits my Samsung just fine. For the price, I'm pleased with the purchase for the usage I have in mind (inspecting electronic circuit boards etc). I'd like to see if I can get it working with an older ASUS Tablet so I can make the larger screen but that's not critical. I'll update the review if I find a way to do that.

I homeschool and this is a must have!! I can't tell you how much I love this. It fits in my purse and works great with my Iphone no problem. We pull it out to look at everything and I mean everything. We look at bugs, plants, more bugs, rocks, hair, fabric, and everything. When I have a bunch of kids that I want to entertain we look at everything saying wowowww over and over. It is so much fun for kids and adults everyone is so shocked at how great it looks. We do have a college level microscope that we love but this is so easy and fun and handy as its light weight and compact. Its what I'm getting all my mom friends for Christmas!!

A great way to introduce children to the microscopic world. The ability to use a cellular phone or a tablet as the display device makes it particularly useful in excursions "to the wild". The LED lightning drains the cellular device's battery too fast to my liking – even at reduced power levels. The requests made by the supporting application to connect to the manufacturer's site every time the application is started are annoying, and I found no way to switch them off permanently. It is unclear why such a connection is needed, which makes it doubly suspicious. Overall – a nice and useful product.

Cheap and perfect for kids , tricky to use , hard to keep focused even with the cheap stand . Any adjustment needs another adjustment , camera also goes in the wrong direction than you think it should . I used it to look at markings on my Mosin Nagant rifles , would take a while to get a decent image to photograph . Bit concerned that the app keeps asking to access my phone (those spying Chinese eh) , there is no reason for the app to access my phone ! Buying a more expensive brand with a real stand and no connection to my phone .

What a great find! Hooked right up to my phone. Easy to download the app. Focusing can has a slight learning curve. Great features for the price. Excellent entry level microscope camera. Can take black and white photos, you can adjust light levels, take photos from the phone or bly clicking a button on the unit itself. Very happy with this purchase. Don't press the side buttons too hard, they can get stuck very easily.
