V-Cube 3b White Pillowed Classic Speedcube

Packaging was A+, arrived it great shape. Very pleasing to freely twist and turn. I thought it was nice and smooth, my buddy who is hardcore into puzzle cubes says the technical description for its feel is closer to "sandy" than "buttery" or "clicky," if that helps. Important to know that the colors are part of the finish, they are not stickers! Normally this is a huge plus, but I bought this to peel and paint like a baseball. I worked hard with some fine grit sandpaper and eventually wore it off, but it was not easy. So, the color will last!

I don't know what I expected; one can clearly see there aren't rounded corners on this thing. So, naturally, pieces are much more prone to getting caught on each other when manipulating/turning sides of the cube. It gets pretty annoying. Now that I think of it, I no longer use this cube anymore for that reason. But if you don't mind that, it's a fine cube.

When i got this cube it turned extremely smooth and as days went by it began to turn smoother and smoother. The corner cutting is great (line to line). The stickers are awesome shades and I really like them. The only thing I don't like about this cube is that it isn't adjustable. When I got it I tried to pull the center caps off but they are glued on. Also, it has rivets instead of screws so it wouldn't be adjustable even if i did get the caps off. One more thing, DO NOT LUBE THIS CUBE!!!! When i got this cube it turned extremely smooth. The second i lubed it, it became really bad turning and awful. I worked in the lube for several days and it still turned bad. Overall I would recommend this to cube anyone.

Yes, it is the new sticker-less version (I hesitated buying because of the mixed messages about the stickers in these reviews). The lack of stickers is nice--gives the cube a nice smooth feel. The cube turns great and cuts corners really well. It's one of my favorite stock (non diy) cubes now. I did take it apart and trim down some of the excess plastic on the inside of the corners. It felt like the stickiness was due to the ridges of plastic on the corners, where the cap was installed inside. It may be my imagination, but I think it is smoother now. One oddity, and the reason I took a star off, is my black green orange corner didn't have a cap inside it. So, all my corners are smooth inside, except this one that has an exposed cavity. I'm not sure it's catching, but it is noticeable, visibly, and occasionally via touch (it's sharp). The pillowed design is unique to the vcube, and sets it apart in my collection. While I like the pillowed design on their bigger cubes, I find the smaller 3x3 to make it slightly harder to use. It feels, to me, like the lack of a straight corner, doesn't give my fingers the edge needed to grip with confidence. I find myself turning layers much closer to the center than I do on a normal cube. Worth mentioning, but not a large enough flaw to dissuade someone from buying it, nor, even, to deduct a star from the review.

This little cube is amazing!! I've been searching for a solid 3x3 for a while that would be my go to cube. This one straight out of the box was astounding. It was as smoother than any other cube I owned and I have a lot. It needed no sanding down or greasing the pieces. It also felt quite sturdy like I could drop it with complete confidence it will not break. I have always liked v cube brand and their higher layered cubes are awesome. It's apparent how much thought they put into their products because this little v cube is a winner!

This is a great cube, made of excellent quality, and it looks nice. This cube has never ever popped on me, it is almost impossible for it to pop actually. it is really solid. i bought this cube because i liked the idea of a pillowed cube. Now, this cube is not good for speed cubing, if you are looking for a great speed cube you should go with the dayan ZhanChi, found on amazon for around $11. sticker quality is good, not great, but good. like i said, not a great speed cube, but is does turn smoothly and nicely. Great product, Would Recommend

The cube spin just fine and good but the stickers has peeled of from the first day so I got new one with no stickers

Payer près de 50% de plus pour avoir un "pseudo" modèle de compétition est-ce judicieux ? Après avoir tellement de modèles "carrés" dans les main qui bloquent souvent, je n'ai pas hésité. Résultat ? Bluffant ... Excellent ! Les faces tournent tellement vite et facilement que parfois il peut être compliqué de maîtriser la "bête" Les 5 étoiles sont un minimum ! J'apporte cependant 2 bémols : 1) Une notice multi-langue est fournie (y compris un tuto) mais la traduction française est lamentable et surtout ... il faut un microscope pour pouvoir lire :-( (voir photo n°1) 2) La peinture est très fragile. En moins de 24h, j'ai déjà un "accroc" sur une pastille bleue (voir photo n°2). sniff ... sniff ... Mais bon, le cube est tellement réactif que ça compense ;-)

qualità prezzo ottimo. La frizione regolabile lo rende un cubo semi professionale. La smussatura degli angoli lo rendono pratico oltre che bello e originale. Mio figlio di 8 anni ha imparato grazie a questo.

Dieser "Zauberwürfel" -V-Cube hat eine sehr gute Qualität, er liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich leicht drehen. Verpackung wirkt hochwertig. Ein schönes Geschenk für Kinder und auch Erwachsene.

This is just a pillowed cube with no special features. It doesn’t have magnets and doesn’t have that snapping feature that speed cubes have. This is not a speed cube but doesn’t claim to be. It’s solid sand a nice cube otherwise.

Arrivé du colis en peu de temps et dans un état parfait. Ce cube est vraiment un excellent produit, qualité irréprochable, l'aspect mat des couleurs et super et permet aussi une adhérence plus importante ce qui permet une meilleure manipulation du cube. Au niveau de la manipulation, les rotations sont fluides et permettent la résolution du cube très rapidement. Un Prix plus élevé que les concurrents mais la qualité en vaut le coup! je le recommande vivement !!
