Got this for caravanning. Used it last year in France i 40 degree. It performed well, did not get very cold but managed to hold the temperature inside the caravan a good 5-10 degrees lower than outside whicj is enough to stop everything inside the van from melting. Ran it on low overnight when it was really hot which made a massive difference to our sleep quality. It is heavy and needs two people ideally to set up. You can get some vibration coming through nd it is not silent but similar to have a fan runing. The beauty is that it can be used in a 6amp site without blowing the fuse.

Don't try and be clever by thinking that you will be able to adapt its intended positioning in a different type of vehicle that is not a caravan with the wrong type of windows other than those stated by the manufacturer. Adaptations won't work as the umbilical is not long enough, and the units won't sit right either. I tried! The quality though did seem decent enough, but don't expect freezing cold air to come out of it as it is quite low powered - better than nothing if it is too hot.. I did set it up indoors to make sure that it worked properly - which it did. It came from Europe - Netherlands if I remember correctly - so tax has to be paid. Returning wouldn't have been straightforward, so I just re-sold it on a different marketplace.

Very easy to install and does the job.

Mixed feelings on this product as this will be third one as two previous were faulty, customer service is great and have helped resolve the issue fingers crossed this one will not fail

Works well in caravan and quite

Brilliant AC unit small compact and light weight, kept our 8m long touring caravan cool in 38c temps in the south of France, couldn’t have been Without it. Brought from here as it was £60 cheaper than other sites did come with a 2 pin plug but just changed it for a 3 pin or you could just get an adapter.

The import costs were a surprise to us as we had already paid £100 for delivery However this works well in our caravan... it won't be cold but will be about 10 degrees lower than outside

Ottimo prodotto, facile da montare, rinfresca e deumidifica un camper di 7 metri già poco dopo l'accensione. In mansarda, essendo alta, l'aria fresca fatica ad arrivare ma comunque si sentono i benefici. Si monta bene nelle finestre seitz ma blocca l'oscurante. Si rimedia oscurando con un cartone. La finestra si blocca coi suoi ganci nel primo scatto, per migliorare il rendimento ho messo dei panni nella fessura tra finestra e telaio.

Yo puse este aire acondicionado portátil en el salón de mi casa, tienes que tener una ventana que comunique la estancia con un balcón o ventana, el compresor se pone en balcón o ventana, como no se puede separar el cordón umbilical que comunica la unidad interior con la exterior, se tendría que sellar al cerrar la ventana con burlete grueso o algo similar, en las opiniones de Amazon de este aparato hay una con fotografías que da una idea como instalarlo, yo lo puse el interior en una estantería y el exterior en el balcon, sería útil para estancias pequeñas, salón, habitación, similar en metros a una caravana pequeña, ya que al ser un aparato con una potencia no elevada 2400 btu, una estancia grande no podrá enfriarla bien, el punto a favor es que la unidad interior, con aire acondicionado posición frío alto y el ventilador en la posición 1 de 2, es muy silencioso y permite escuchar tv, etc y no molesta nada, yo en el salón tengo un portátil de ruedas más potente de 9000 btu, para enfriar con más potencia, pero que hace más ruido y una vez enfriada, el eurom ac2401 la mantiene fria pero sin ruido apenas, para mí por ahora debo decir es un buen aparato. J'ai acheté ce climatiseur pour ma barge résidentielle mobile de 20 m. La livraison s'est déroulée dans la moitié du délai annoncé. La boîte en carton était superficiellement endommagée, mais avec l'épaisseur de la mousse de polystyrène, le climatiseur n'était pas endommagé. Les instructions d'installation et d'utilisation sont claires et faciles à suivre. Pour l'instant il fonctionne bien, il n'est pas trop bruyant et pour les chambres de la taille pour laquelle il est conseillé dans la notice il est très efficace notamment en ce qu'il consomme moins d'électricité, environ 380W en ventilateur haut, 320W en ventilateur bas, par rapport à l'annoncé. 450W. Jusqu'à présent, très bien, dépasse les spécifications annoncées

Just tried it at home. Apparatus needs some small mods to make it perfect. There are two side handles on the interior unit and a top handle on the exterior unit. This configuration makes it difficult to carry the entire unit. It would be better to have a manifold making it possible to split off the connecting lead, If this could be done without risk of gas leak it would be great. I seems that it is quit powerful as it it keeping our living room comfortable even though the volume is hugely over the prescribed limit. There should be the option to reverse the system and use it as a heater. Modern domestic aircon units can do this.
