Yes, this is advertised as chocolate peanut butter but the taste is not exactly peanut buttery. Oh no. The reality is so much more. I expected something that taste in the vicinity of a peanut butter cup. What I got was a blast of Nutella. I don't know why but to me this tastes like liquid Nutella. There's the obvious dominant flavor of chocolate but there is a definite streak of hazelnut flavor in here. The combination, as I said, creates the overall impression of sucking down Nutella. All I can say is: It. Is. Glorious. Nothing this healthy should taste this good. I'm serious. I look forward to this shake every day. As an RN, I'm on my feet and lifting or turning patients all day. This constant activity places a heavy strain on the body. This shake packs a protein punch to keep my muscles fueled and delivers a jolt of flavor that gets me through the day. Plus it's incredibly convenient. There are times when your lunch break gets cut short but with this shake I know I can get everything down quickly and feel satiated throughout the rest of the day. This isn't just a good meal replacement/supplement for when you have to get nutrients down in a hurry, it really has helped with my training and I've noticed tangible gains since using this product. Right now I'm programming with the Strong 5x5 routine. At first I was just using basic whole foods to meet protein needs however as I progressed I found myself taking longer and longer to recover fully. That's when I decided to try a protein supplement. I had tried others in the past. They were usually gritty and would mess with my stomach. So I did a lot of research on the best protein powders out there and this product came up. I can tell you that not only is my strength increasing at a steady rate but my muscles are growing in size as well. The extra boost of protein this shake provides has definitely been helpful in making and maintaining gains and we all know that it's all about the gainz! The texture isn't too bad either. There's a bit of grittiness and aftertaste but no more so than if you actually ate a spoonful of Nutella. The grittiness is certainly better than other powders I've tried. I don't think you'll ever find a perfectly smooth protein powder but this is very easy to take. Plus, the resulting shake is thick and gives you the feeling that you're actually eating something. Overall, I absolutely recommend this shake. There are no real drawbacks to using this as a supplement. The taste, while not exactly as advertised, is serenipitously delicious in its own way and their failure to perfectly capture the flavor of peanut butter has resulted in something even more amazing. So in short, taking your Isopure protein, move some iron, and make some gains!

High protein, low-carb & low-calorie. Chocolate peanut butter is the worst flavor in my opinion, I like the toasted coconut and the double Dutch chocolate which are my favorites. This, IsoPure is my go to daily shake in the blender. It’s allowed me to both lose weight and gain lean muscle mass at the same time. That’s the Holy Grail🫡

I have trialed over 20 different protein powders and can honestly say that this protein powder is one of the highest quality powders out there. I did not experience any gas or stomach issues, and digests pretty smooth. The taste is very good with little to no after taste. Overall, worth the money to get the results you're looking for.

I have been buying isopure for a while. They recently changed the formula and the new formula is bad. It is grainy, has an off flavor, and leaves a salty residue at the bottom of the shake. It is so unpalatable that I'm going to throw away the container I purchased and will switch brands.

Solid mix, but the taste disappoints.

I’m on a low calorie diet and this protein powder helps me hit my protein macros every day. My husband adds it to his coffee every morning. I drink it hot. I know that sounds weird but I don’t drink coffee so I mix this with warm water in the morning and drink it. It’s not foamy!!! It’s high quality and isn’t gritty. It’s expensive but you’re paying for the quality so it’s worth it to me.

We like the taste of this ISOPure. While it's higher quality, I will say, it's a bit pricey, but we like it. We use it in our morning protein drinks along with kefir and yogurt. So far I've tried several flavors of ISOPure that include Dutch Chocolate and Cookies and Cream, and this is by far our favorite. My one big disappointment is that they don't sell this in the larger 7.5 pound bags. It dissolves easily in our drink mixer making it an easy addition.

I have been using this product for years. If you’re looking for high quality protein with no carbs, this is it. Mixes easily and USED TO taste good. IsoPure appears to have recently changed their formula which has significantly impacted the taste and makes it not mix quite as well. The flavor no longer tastes like chocolate peanut butter and it leaves a gritty aftertaste. I’m hoping I just got a bad batch or something, but the branding and packaging has also changed.

One of the worst protein powders I’ve tried in my life - waste of my money, it doesn’t mix well and the taste is beyond plastic and horrible! I threw mine away - and this has 25g protein only as compared to many other leading ones offering 30g - certainly peanut butter chocolate flavor is the worst one this brand has!

I've been using Isopure for 3.5 months now, I was drawn to Isolate in particular because of lactose intolerance. I don't find this product upsets my stomach or makes me feel bloated. I always imagined protein was something you just quickly down because of an unpleasant taste or texture, but I was wrong. I mix a scoop into a shaker bottle with 18oz. of 'Earths Own' chocolate or vanilla oat milk immediately post workout, and I can honestly say it enhances the taste of the oat milk for me. I look forward to it. Mixes great, no clumpiness, and that's a easy 430 calories to ingest. I stared with Vanilla (girlfriend wasn't using it) loved it, figured I'd give Peanut Butter Chocolate a try afterwards, and was very surprised... usually I'm a huge fan of anything peanut butter, but I definitely prefer the vanilla more. Great product, will continue to use as I don't see any reason to mess with something that works, and doesn't mess up my stomach.

But I just recognized that maybe that isn't the best flavor for a protein powder shake lol. It's drinkable but I warn anyone who is planning to buy it to really think hard about what drinking 500mL of peanut butter tastes like. Tub is full. Seems like you get your moneys worth. Will probably buy in vanilla or chocolate next time. Edit: I take back my earlier comments. It takes a little bit to get used to but I actually enjoy the flavor now.

Works well. Came fast. Good product. Just tastes like anus.

By far the worst tasting protein powder I have ever had. I have tried many different brands and was really looking forward to trying the isopure but was severely disappointed!! Don’t waste your money like I did.
