Amino Bonding Hair Mask, Intense Conditioning Masque (2.1oz)

I love this hair mask, it is thick and easy to spread through out your hair from roots to ends, it smells great after rinsing, and my hair feels smooth and not weighed down after using. I always use this after lightening my hair and it provides noticeable results! My hair always keeps it's curls and doesn't feel dried out or frizzy after using.

Makes my coarse color treated hair soft and shiny w each use. Smoothes frizz even in humid weather. Amazingly it does not make hair greasy at all. I will continue to use it ea time I shampoo (1-2 x per wk). I leave it on for 10 - 15 min. It leaves a pleasant light coconut smell. One packet contains 3-4 uses for my hair length.

Over the years I’ve used so many leave in conditioners and masks that didn’t seem to make much of a difference to my hair, or even made it break so badly I had to chop off inches. My hair is very fine and coily. No matter how I condition/moisturize, the strands get easily wrapped up making it hard to detangle or comb without breakage. To my surprise, my soft, fine strand, coily, normal porosity, 4 B/C hair rinsed out extra soft, yet with significantly less breakage after detangling! I had used other bonding products before that were too strong for my fine strands, and actually caused extreme breakage. But this product left my hair so easy to detangle and even 2 weeks later, I am seeing little breakage when I comb and style my hair. This leads me to believe it really has worked to strengthen my hair. Will definitely be buying more. This was truly effective for my fragile hir.

My friend is a retired stylist who lives in another state. I texted her - while still at the salon - after a bleaching mishap at the salon. My hair was not ruined but it was damaged and the ends were fried. I did end up cutting a bit off, but there were some pieces left that were "salvageable". The stylist was trying to convince me to buy some repair product. My friend told me to skip it and order this off Amazon overnight. Oh my gosh, it was really truly amazing. Did it turn my frizzed and fried hair into silky glass hair? nope. But, it did soften it considerably after I left it on for 15 minutes under a shower cap. Cool rinse and it was so much better. I have used it weekly for three weeks and it has greatly improved my hair. I have thick coarse hair that is shoulder length. A little goes along way but I was able to get three treatments out of this. This product is so amazing, that I started exploring other Palmer products. My friend said she swears by it and uses the Tahitian Vanilla line herself. She said she quit using expensive salon products and switched to using Palmer's products. She has gorgeous hair so I am thinking she may be onto something. Either way, this was a miracle in a packet. And... for only $2?

Not a bad product, it just didn’t work for me personally. I have naturally straight hair that can get weighed down easily. I wash my hair once a week and like to try out different masks to see if I like them and want to implement them into my routine. This product smells amazing kind of like vanilla frosting, hydrates really well, it’s thick and you get a little more than average in a packet. The only downside was it made my hair oily much quicker than normal.

I’ve bleached sections of my hair too many times, and the fun colours I dye it with haven’t been sticking for more than a single wash. The overprocessed parts had turned sad and so dry I was considering whether I really ought to cut them (nooo I’m still growing it out!) Enter this Amino Bond Repair mask. After just two sessions, those bleached sections are already behaving more like normal hair - softer, silkier, more hydrated, and noticeably less straw like and tragic. I use it in place of conditioner, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. By the second use (2–3 days apart), the slip stayed even after a very good rinse. Air-drying felt nice, but the real magic showed the next morning - the bleached pieces felt much closer in texture to my healthy hair. What I really appreciate is that the formula is effective without heavy proteins or harsh ingredients. It doesn’t make healthy hair brittle or overloaded. It just reinforces damaged parts and leaves the rest alone. Bonus is this $1.99 packet easily gives 3 or 4 uses. I’ve done two generous applications and still have half a packet left. I’ll keep using this for 2 or 3 more weeks and hopefully my dyes will stick like they used to. Definitely a product I’ll be keeping on hand for use after future bleaching sessions. Hair profile: fine/medium, past shoulder length, straight with a wave at the ends, low porosity and picky about products; half virgin/half over-processed; tangle prone; sleep in a silk bonnet.

I wish it was a little thicker feeling for my thick hair. Great scent.

This was my first time using this product but I have used Palmer's skin products before and love them so I thought I would try it. I have very fine, thin hair so typically deep conditioners are either too heavy for my hair or if they promise to to be good for fine thin hair and add volume they dry it out. This conditioner did neither. I absolutely love it! It has a wonderful, light coconut smell. It's a nice thick consistency and is easy to apply. I shampooed my hair as usual and applied it right to my towel dried, damp hair. Ten minutes later I had soft, shiny, bouncy, nice smelling hair! The package is large enough that I can easily get 2 applications out of it. The cost is very reasonable especially when I am used to spending $40-60 on other products that I am often disappointed with. I color my hair and am over 50 so it tends to get that dry frizziness. After using this conditioner my hair was smooth and no longer dry. Great product from Palmer's as usual!

One product that always works for my hair. Any range of palmers deep conditioners makes the hair soo soft and manageable. The fragrance is little strong but controls frizz perfectly.

Have tried multiple products to tame frizz n dryness of hair....be it serums ...from pilgrim to moraccan oil... professional shampoos etc... bt the kind of impact it gv in first use. Anazing...i bought two more.... i also tried Palmers olive deep condition sth...so two weeks n my hair feel amazing. So its a weekly plan now...go for it...apply generously...cover 10 min min wt plastic cap n enjoy. Hope it helps ppl like me who dont spend time in styling etc. I just wash hair..let yhem naturally dry n move. No fuss.

Excellent for dry frizzy hair

The product works well, but rinsing it out can be a bit challenging. It doesn’t wash off completely, leaving some residue behind. While it does help reduce frizz, the leftover product tends to lift the hair slightly, making it appear more wavy or curly—though not frizzy.
