Good replacement
Works perfectly with my Sony TV, voice activation is great too.

Works if you can't afford the stock remote
I lost the remote that came with my TV. This one does work to turn it on & off. It will also pause & restart WITHOUT ease. The voice control doesn't work at all. All the commands are slow, or not at all. Quite frustrating. If you can afford the one that comes with your TV, I suggest it!
