I’ve tried the Dae 4-in-1 Styling Cream (yes, the super expensive one), and honestly? This one is just as good — if not better — and for half the price. I’m literally on my fifth bottle, and it’s become a total must-have in my daily hair routine. For work, I always have to wear my hair in a slicked-back bun, and I recently cut my front bangs, so I was a little worried about them sticking out or flying loose. But this cream does the job perfectly. It holds everything in place while giving that shiny, sleek, clean-girl look — without making my hair feel hard, crunchy, or stiff like some gels or sprays do. When it dries, it feels soft and flexible, but still keeps the hold all day. It’s super comfortable, easy to use, and works whether I’m slicking all my hair back or just taming the front pieces. A little goes a long way, but I do wish the bottle were bigger because I use it almost every day and go through it pretty fast (same size as Dae’s, but still). I use this product for my slick back hairstyles and it holds very well without making my hair feel crunchy. When putting it in your hair it is veryyyyy liquidy and sticky but other than that no issues

I want to start this review with saying I have never tried the dae. product & I have never used this to stick back my hair. I use this as a curl defining cream for after I wash my hair and I think it holds my hair much better than other products I have used. It smells good, doesn't feel super heavy on my hair, and looks good for several days after I have washed my hair. For the price, I will buy this again over other products that do similar things.

I purchased this product solely for slick back buns, and I feel it definitely helped achieve a smooth look. My hair isn’t too difficult to work with but this definitely made it easier, and held decently well (8+ hours of sweating). However, the smell is terrible. If comparing this to Dae, Dae is worth it solely based on how much better it smells. But, it gets the job done. I would recommend spending the extra money to buy the genuine version of this product as this is simply mediocre when comparing the two.

Not great it looks like the DAE brand but overall a lot more watery and not great for value. It doesn’t hold as well throughout the day and I think it’s due to the thickness of the product. Smell was fine.
