One of the best dupes I’ve ever found! This scent is indistinguishable from the “not a gun” perfume and the scent lasts forever! The cap is awesome as it’s magnetic. I thought the size of the bottle would not impress me but with how long this scent stays on you, it’s the perfect size. Price was amazing as well! The “not a gun” perfume is VERY expensive and this is a wonderful alternative.

So as I hope we all know Dossier does dupes of perfumes. It's sort of their THING. The bottle I bought, for example, Musky Musk, is meant to be a dupe of juliana might be armed's perhaps this isn't a perfume. And it's close! I won't lie, it's very close. Having smelled the original, the dossier dupe does come within a finger length of smelling the same. Its one downfall to being a perfect dupe is that it's just that bit more sweet. I don't mind that sweetness, in fact I find it endearing. It melds well with a lot of the more drugstore lotions and creams I use, so if I'm wearing something vanilla scented as a lotion and then I put Musky Musk on, they blend very nicely and I smell super good. Dossier also has my heart with their very minimalist yet easy to read packaging (yes that's a thing what do you want a minimalist label that just says 'perfume' with no other information? Man no THANKS) and those magnetic tops. Oh my goodness the magnetic tops, they're great. I've never put down this bottle's top and then forgotten about it because I love the click and it holds so well. For the price in comparison to the perfume it's duping I find Musky Musk to be worth it. You're not going to get a 100% true match to the OG, but you're gonna get close enough that honestly it barely matters.

Gorgeous scent, it's clean, has a soapy like smell that would pair well with powdery creamy scents from soaps and hair care. Over all would give a Fresh and Clean vibe. Definitely pair this with Dove Deep moisture soap and anything like that.

I was excited to smell it until I did. It smells like a Johnson & Johnson band-aid. Nothing like fresh cotton or a clean smell at all, unless you like the smell of a brand new band-aid. Nothing at all like I expected. Don’t buy.

As a perfume / all things scented obsessed person- I have used jhag many times - I have a dupe oil I purchased from a discount oil site- total 100% dupe ( don’t know if I mention site- wholesale body oils.com) This Dossier is in my opinion pretty close! It’s a lovely soft scent just like “not a perfume”. I agree with other reviews that it’s not strong - doesn’t seem to last and yes you need to use more than perhaps an expensive perfume. But this is a soft skin like fragrance and the original doesn’t project well either - so to pay less and have something close - and maybe use more is ok with me!! For those who love this scent- check out the dupe oils you can get! Musky Musk is a skin scent and it’s lovely and I spray in my hair and skin and i totally agree it’s not a long lasting projecting scent but it’s a beautiful clean musky scent and more affordable. I wouldn’t buy full size of jhag as I would feel disappointed so paying less to have something similar - I’m ok with. I have also purchased “Powdery Tobacco “ which is gorgeous- but still need to use alot. So I would just share in my opinion- it’s less expensive this way and they are so nice to add to my collection instead of outrageous prices! Dossier seems like a nice alternative !

This perfume smells really good! I’m not familiar with the perfume it smells like but it must be great, too. I will say it lasts longer being sprayed on my chest, not as long on my wrists. But all in all I love the scent and recommend it!

I have a perfume from Juliette Has a Gun that I like, although it’s not my favorite. That’s why I bought the version from Dossier to compare. When I tried it, I was honestly surprised by how similar it is—it’s the best dupe I’ve found so far. Most people probably wouldn’t notice a difference between the two. When I first sprayed it, my reaction was ‘wow… I actually like this,’ which I didn’t expect. To me, Juliette has a very soft, almost woody vibe (even though it’s not really wood—just to give you an idea). This one feels smoother and more subtle in comparison. I don’t really pick it up strongly on my skin 😄, but I know it’s there. Overall, it leans a bit more delicate and understated than Juliette.

Not a bad perfume, just not strong enough for me and it truly is just musk with no dimension to it. Does not last long either. My perfect scent repeat buy ended up being a blueberry musk from some Dubai brand here on Amazon.

Actually this is surprisingly good; fraction of the cost of an expensive one that smells very similar that I have and love. In terms of ‘longevity’ it does last and if you can’t smell it yourself, get someone else to check and the very expensive one works the same because it works with your skin and you may not be able to smell it yourself but others can. The magnetic cap is clever and I like that. It looks smart and tidy and the size of the bottle matches the contents (so it’s not a big bottle that has empty space). I’m quite impressed.
