Very Sturdy
Not sure why the rating for this tripod is so low. It is really sturdy, when the base it twisted tight, at the bottom. I got this after I bought the same branded articulating fine tunable laser level mount because it was really solid. They do not mate together quit right but I was able to use a cutting wheel on my Dremel tool to remove part of the rear bracing, so it would stack onto the tripods mount. I attached photos of what that looks like.

Damaged Lock Screw (Updated)
The unit seems to be of decent quality. I give it three stars for now, because the lock screw was bent when I got it. I returned it for a replacement not a refund. If the replacement unit is undamaged, I'll revisit my rating. Update: I got a replacement with no issues.

sturdy stand for our Huepar laser level
This would be 5 stars if it came with some instructions on how to assemble. The first time it took a minute to figure out how the base attached to the first rod, but after that, the rods are numbers and the whole system is easy to use and work with.

Fits all your needs
Solid. Able to move your huepar leveler just about anywhere that you need for perfect adjustment. Has little level indicators on the stand so you know its level as well. Light weight.

Disappointed
The vertical part of the contraption seems to be of poor quality. It’s supposed to extend to give you wiggle room for whatever height you need and mine got stuck after the first use. I had to get my demo flat head and bang it out and I damaged it in doing so. I tried to pull it out with some grips but I’m not sure how it was lodged in there that pulling on it would not work. The pieces are glued together and they came apart and some plastic pieces even broke from the legs somehow. Setting it up is a bit of a struggle but seems to be worth it if you want some sort of consistent level. It’s as heavy as you’d expect and the adjustability is fine. Not sure it’s something that I’d recommend buying though

Must have tool when using a laser level
The most important aspect of using a laser level is to set it to the desired height. Over the years, I have used various sizes of tripods and find I was having to stack things to set the tripod on so that I could focus the light at the proper height. Another challenge is what to do when you have to use a level near the ceiling. Stacking things that high can take up a lot of room to maintain stability. This unit allows you to very easily set your vertical height and then fine tune that height and only take up the size of the pole. It does come with a tripod, but have not had to ever use it. It is very easy to move it and set it from floor to ceiling.
