Reliable, fast wireless CarPlay at an incredibly low price
For the price, this is an excellent no-frills head unit that delivers fast, reliable wireless CarPlay without the usual Android bloat. It fits perfectly in my NB Miata when paired with the Metra Electronics 99-7505 double DIN installation kit. I originally bought it because of the reviews and the extremely low cost, and it has exceeded expectations. The Linux-based operating system boots quickly, and wireless CarPlay connects in under 10 seconds. Rear camera performance is clear and reliable. I like having a physical volume knob, although there is no mute function for CarPlay, so volume has to be turned down manually. Call audio quality is very good even without using an external microphone. Installation was customized: I removed the ISO connector and wired in an aftermarket Miata harness, bypassed the factory Bose amplifier to run the head unit directly to the speakers, and added a separate switch for the power antenna since the unit’s blue wire is always on. Sound quality is an improvement over my previous Pioneer single-DIN head unit.

Excellent Stereo 1 Year Strong
Love this stereo. My first one started having an issue where the screen would randomly go black and I had to reset it and they sent me another for free thats been working great for a year now. Super fast wireless carplay and very easy to install, and I was able to map my steering wheel buttons with no issues. The EQ works fine and there are a myriad of sound controls to fine tune your speaker setup. Also the usb C charges so fast I dont even use my 12V cigarette lighter anymore.

Stay Away
UPDATE: Google maps flips out and automatically try to navigate and screen will continuously beep as if you are tapping the screen. Eonon customer service determined its faulty but prefer if I purchase a new one for 75% off. I refused as the stereo is under warranty. This is our second unit, the first one died on us after warranty and they offered a discount on the second one. They will continuously try to get you to purchase a new one to boost sales. Stay away from this radio and company as their customer service isn't very good. Original: Linux system works well and really good price for what you get. Connectivity is good with Android Auto. My biggest gripe is the stereo didn't fit the Metra double din kit (95-8907HG) quite right which wouldn't be a big deal except it makes it hard to turn the volume knob. I may 3D print a new knob :)

Pleasantly surprised
Anyone wanting a real human review of this product, here it is. I will start with the good, Its easy to install as its plug and play for most "modern" cars so no need for wire crimping which is nice. Having wireless carplay at this price point is fantastic. The fact that its linux based makes this stereo very responsive and has a quick boot time compared to the android ones. The extra wires it comes with for steering controls / extra audio equipment is cool too. Now onto the bad, First it didn’t remember my settings. I was really upset about this, but after doing a lot of research I discovered that on some cars you have to switch the Yellow and Red wire. After I did that it remembers all of my adjustments, eg. time/date, EQ, volume, saved radio stations and more, the only thing it doesn't save is screen brightness which is honestly not a big deal. (for those of you that may have to do this I cut on the ISO side of the 1A block). The other thing is a very minor delay, mostly annoying for watching YouTube on your lunch break but still figured I’d point it out All in all its a great buy for 2000s-2010s cars that want an upgrade, if you know how to crimp/cut wires, which if you're buying this I assume you can, then this is an amazing headunit. I personally don't like android ones so when I came across this I was super stoked. Hope this helps anyone looking to buy!

Great little radio for $100
Far surpassed my expectations for the price. For starters, the interface is fairly easy to navigate and full of features, but the head unit boots up fairly quickly (5-7 seconds after the ignition is switched on). I installed the included rear-view camera, and the sharpness and quality is also excellent for the price. FM/AM reception is good, phone connectivity is stable, and wireless Carplay works wonderfully without much lag. The amplifier gets plenty loud and will overpower my factory car speakers if I set the volume above halfway, but there is plenty of granularity in how much you can adjust the volume. Overall, I was very impressed with this head unit, it was relatively easy for me to install, but I have a background in electronics. It took me about 3 hours all in. Make sure to get the required audio wiring harness and dash kit for your vehicle. Some cars will be able to accept this with no modification (I think some GM vehicles work with the included harness). I had to purchase an additional harness for my Honda and bridge the connections to the harness included with the radio using a soldering iron. The only gripe I have is the fitment between the volume knob and my frame for the dash kit. The knob is small and scrubs against the frame, which made it difficult to adjust the volume at first. It seems to have work in / I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I purchased this head unit from Amazon UAE and installed it in my 2017 Maruti Suzuki Celerio in India. Overall, the unit turned out to be pretty decent for the price. The display quality is good, touch response is smooth, and Apple CarPlay works well. Sound quality is also satisfactory after proper tuning. Installation was straightforward in my Celerio. The only issue I noticed is that Android Auto disconnects occasionally. It’s not very frequent, but it does happen sometimes, which can be a bit inconvenient during navigation. Apart from that, everything works fine
