The Manning Grooms: Bride on the LooseSame Time, Next Year

Entertaining book, enjoyed the story and having other characters I knew added in. Was a quick read that I enjoyed.

I didn't think I would love anything as much as the Manning sisters but this book was awesome. I loved Jason and Char's story. I was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. To see Jason finally find someone that he loves was so sweet, then to see him nurture what he noticed was a slightly damaged soul was even sweeter. They were perfect for each other and I was so happy with the ending. Now....who would have thought James would be my favorite story out of all the Manning boys (Rich being a close second). I'm soooo glad his story turned out the way it did. I really felt bad for him when it didn't work out with Christy, but things happen for a reason. He found a true love to love him back just as fully if not more. Summer was just what he needed. This story was exciting, romantic and sexy, all coming from stuffy James, go figure. I'm just sorry that the Manning series had to come to an end, but what an end it was.

This was a good follow-up to the other book. It was a good way to complete the story. Both books were very entertaining!

This book was a great finished to the series that was written. I would highly recommend buying all the novels and readying them. I could not wait. I tried to make sure I had all the books at the same time, because its like watching a movie. You want to make sure you can get the next one. Great writing, romance, love, and family togetherness. It was a great book.

Bride on the loose Jason was happy with his bachelor life until Carrie desides he should date her mother. She offers to pay him to go out with her. When that doesn't work she removes a screw out of a faucet. ( since he is their landlord they have to call him). A very good story on how their relationship developes and problems that are worked out. Same Time Next Year He saw her in the New Year crowd. He helped her get out of the crowd. In a quiet park he found out she had just found her fiance in bed with another woman. James talked about how she would feel better in a year. They made an agreement to meet in the same park in a year. He sent her letters on the first of the month the whole year. They finally decided to marry now and then again in April. But of course things couldn't work as planned. Very good story.

The Manning series are my favorite works by this author. Simple story line filled with romance. An easy, relaxing read.

I enjoyed the book very much even though you know what the out come is going to be as it's the story as to how two people get together. Plus I love the books that have 'series' so you can continue the story from one book to the next.

Light, enjoyable reading. Feel good and filled with faith. Debbie Macumber is able to fill her books with love, intrigue and faith. Three good stories.

With this book also bought 'The Manning Sisters' and 'The Manning Grooms. They are all great Stories with a Wholesomeness that you don't get in a lot a fiction today, Honest believable stories with Happy endings. Just lovely.

I know when I open one of her books I am in for a great story she never fails to keep me wanting to turn the page

As with most love story books that are wrote they are from the womans prospective, but this book is different it is from the male side. It is quite good. I bought it because I had bought Christmas Angels in an airport and found that a good read. This one I am slightly disapointed.
