HOWND Vegan Dog Food - Plant Powered Superfood Hypoallergenic Dry Dog Food - Pumpkin & Quinoa Adult - 10KG

My two dog’s have a combination of dry kibble and wet food in tins (Butchers Lean & Tasty). I have successfully weaned them off the meat based kibble and they are fine without it. Thinking about pets consuming 20% of the meat that’s produced from agriculture doesn’t sit well with me so I wanted to try to do something about our usage. Although it’s fairly expensive, it is high quality and my boys are keen to eat it. It smells savoury and once my dogs were eating it daily, they were clearing their bowls and producing solid poops with no flatulence. I like to give some variety to my dog’s meals and add tinned sardines/fresh cucumber/apple/pear to the kibble. I just wish there were some reasonably priced vegan wet food options for dog’s. The current selection is extortionate.

Good quality vegan dog food. My dogs have been having this for a couple of years now. Good value for money, and kind to animals too!

I switched looking for a vegan dog food as my corgi was suffering with allergies. While it seemed to start to solve this I was getting excited sadly after a few bags the food didn't suit him as he started to vomit early hours of the morning, the vet said he has acid reflux so more medication. The biscuits do take a long time to dissolve they are quite hard when I tested a biscuit in warm water against the new brand I still have my dog on today it took triple the time to get mushy! no wonder. He is fine now on his current food all round and no meds of any form.

Still segueing this in with her previous food but signs good thus far - nice and crunchy so a good workout for teeth (but she also enjoys it soaked) and a lovely savoury smell!

My fussy Pomeranian, all the dogs at the dog park and my cat, all love this food. It’s so good to know they are eating such healthy, nutritious food and enjoying it. Highly recommend!

My 12yr old cocker spaniel loves this food. She used to have a terrible stomach and was always poorly with it. This food has completely cured her tummy and given her tons of energy. She runs across the beach like a puppy now. It really is a miracle food for my dog. I've been vegan for 18yrs so i wanted a cruelty free food for my dog too and this is hands down the BEST dog food on the market. Your dog will not be disappointed!!

The temporary packaging has now gone and the contents to be a bit different too. Luckily, Daisy still likes this product. Phew!! It is generally used as a mixer to her home cooked (vegan) meals. However, when travelling, it is the predominant meal content, when there are no cooking facilities. Very happy with this product. Just hope we can buy it in Spain!!?
