OVER THE LAST 6 YEARS I HAVE PURCHASED THOUSANDS OF THESE LITTLE CRIMP TUBES. I LOOKED FOR ABOUT A YEAR FOR SOMETHING STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD UP OUTSIDE UNDER THE OKLAHOMA WIND AND RAIN FOR USE IN BUILDING MY WINDCHIMES AND SUNCATCHERS. THEY ARE THE BEST THAT I'VE EVER FOUND. I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BUILD MY BEAUTIFUL ART PIECES WITHOUT THEM. THEY DON'T RUST, PULL OR FALL APART. I HAVE HAD MY WINDCHIMES HOLD UP UNDER 95MPH STRAIGHT WINDS. I HAD A STRAIGHT WIND TAKE OUR FENCE DOWN 10 FEET FROM THE 4 WINDCHIMES IN MY FRONT YARD 2 MONTHS AGO, AND NONE OF THEM WERE DAMAGED. THESE LITTLE WONDERS ARE AMAZING, AND I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THEM.

I like the thickness of the crimps. My last pack was a little thinner. It took a little getting used to the change, but I prefer it now and will be buying this pack next time I need to restock. It crimps better and is more durable. I use these when making phone charms and they have hold up quite well. I don’t know if it oxidizes over time because I hide the crimps with a crimp cover. I use these with 4mm crimp cover.

Confirmed what others said - clearly not a pack of 800pcs, that was definitely a joke. Counted several and I'd estimate it's more like 500pcs in my pack of "800". Upon actually using the product, half were defective. The crimps don't have proper holes 'punched' through. I have a beading awl to poke through each one, and recommend using a toothpick for those who don't have a tool. So technically, I'm still able to get all of them to work, but the extra step for each bead, and inaccurate quantity gets 2 stars down from me. It's a big pity since the actual make of them is thicker metal than other crimps - it has the potential to be such a high quality product. Feel free to buy if you are in an emergency or have no other crimp options, just be sure to use a toothpick!

I am really happy with these. I haven't used crimp tubes in probably over a decade but I needed some recently and I wasn't sure what size I wanted, so this seemed like a good choice. When I used to use crimp tubes, I was pretty bad at it and I ended up with some fairly mangled-looking ends on my necklaces. But I tried these for the first time last night and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. They worked exactly as intended and looked pretty nice (and compact) when I was finished. I did cover them with a cap but would not necessarily have had to. The finish is shiny and even, and these bend exactly as they should when you crimp them -- no cracking or distortion. Most importantly, they hold the beading wire you use securely in place. You are not working for hours on a necklace and then having it all fall apart. (I was using the 2 x 2 mm ones on some 0.014 inch soft flex wire and it was a perfect fit.) Would definitely buy again!

Sizing pretty consistent, black, rose and gold coloured were all fine but the silver plated had unite a few that were tarnished to the point they are not usable.
