If I buy these picks will I be able to play just like the Edge?

No, only the Edge can play like the Edge.  You will be able to play like you using this pick. That’s what makes playing the guitar so great, we all have our own sound. I bought these to see if I would like them, but no matter what other picks I try, I always end up back using the Fender medium 347. Remember, practice, practice, practice and use the pick that feels good to you.

So, can any recent purchasers of the blue herdims comment on whether the latest batches being delivered are still not the same as the originals?

I've purchased these on two occasions. Once I think in 2016? and again in 2020 and they are indistinguishable from one another. I don't know if they are identical to the "original" or not.  The picks I got are all the same and they are my go-to pick for most things acoustic and some electric. Also, if it's meaningful, I got the first batch from a store in Germany and the second batch through Amazon.

Question 4

Blue herdims are supposed to be 1.1mm thick. the description on this listing says 0.88mm thick. these do feel thinner than mine from 2004. what’s up?

I measured some blue and they all appear to be about .032 inches. This is about the same as the red ones. The yellow are thinner. I have a few dozen yellow ones that are thicker about .038 inches. They are narrower in shape, taller and not as wide.
