Great sound, overall a good deal
CUK is giving a good deal on this laptop. I bought it for Machine Learning stuff ... havent tried games .... Also you might see the battery not going beyond 90%. To avoid that you need Battery Calibration in Start menu .. which will calibrate battery. PROS: The sound is absolutely amazing ... loud and clear ... no need for headphone. Bright display Absolutely silent .... no fan sound .... Features SSD HDD RAM are amazing ... i hope they all keep working perfectly... Beautiful looks ... full metallic body ... no flex... Keyboard backlight is beautiful. Didnt come with annoying bloatware .... Battery life is above 4 hours with surfing and streaming CONS: In the 2nd month the hinges on side that provide ventilation start breaking off, when you pick the laptop because of poor body of laptop. After a year, all the hinges are gone from left and some from right side. Didnt like that Home and END button can be used only when Fn key is pressed. To tackle that i installed key mapping software and swapped Insert Delete with Home and End. Who uses Insert anyway ? Overall, satisfied with the purchase and i hope it doesnt show any problems.

Great Gaming Laptop
I have had this laptop going on three years now. It is terrific for gaming and other personal use. The speed is fantastic, and I never experience any lag. I have 300 Mbps plus internet speed which is quite a benefit for playing online obviously. I use the Steam and Ubisoft platforms to play most of my games, and I play an average of 20 hrs per week with the occasional binge when I buy a new game or they offer the chance to play games for free. If I play a free-standing offline game, this laptop handles it without any issues. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a new one; of course, you should buy the current model. Hope I see you online someday. Steam ID: MP1SG

Good, but not great!
The performance is ok, especially with the RTX 2060. However, it is loud, loud enough that you need to cover your ears with headphones to play a game at any level above "low" settings. "Medium" is not too bad and is where my kids are setting their games, but anything more than that and the system does not have enough performance to run at anything other than 80 or 90%, causing it to run hot and the fans to run loud. DOTA2 runs on "medium" at 25% GPU and 30-35% CPU. Rainbow Six Siege, Descent and ARK Survival are about the same. "Ultra" almost maxes the system out, but they do play. Also, this laptop has 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB-C ports. The description is wrong about the headset jack, it does not have microphone in capabilities. It is just a headphone out jack. You need a USB to 3.5mm to use a gaming headset. I would have returned the laptop over this, but the price point made it worthwhile to get a USB hub and get a USB to 3.5mm adapter. We have not tested OBS while playing yet, because we need the USB hub to arrive, but I am confident with the games on "medium", OBS should run and the system should stay around 50% CPU, maybe a bit less.

AMAZING COMPUTER
This computer is amazing. Great picture and video quality! Games run SO smoothly. Super fast! Keyboard lights up and you can customize what colors you want it to be. Same goes for the back light on the computer. Holds a ton of pictures, videos, games, etc. There's two fans which help a lot whenever I'm gaming and my computer starts to get hot. The first fan is just automatic. When your computer gets hot, it starts up. Then there's an extra fan that boosts the cooling on a different level! To activate this fan, you can press the last button underneath the power button. It's super convenient, especially if you're a gamer. The sound system on this computer is very good too. Overall, would definitely recommend. I'm making this review months after my purchase and I have NOT come across one problem.

Not as loud as people say.
I just got it running and it is as advertised. Yes the battery life will be short it's a gaming laptop they draw alot of power but with msi dragon control I set the battery to only charge to 60 percent to save it's life. The fan in max speed isn't loud enough to be picked up by my mic in a discord call. And overall pleased with my choice. Gonna stress test some games but not hardcore like 2077 etc. Gonna try hunt showdown on high settings. Phasma phobia we'll see. Completely rambling overall good choice though if you can find this with a 2070 or 2080 super graphics card do that. *Edit the advertisement of 144 hz is incorrect for this model it's 120 only if selling says otherwise look up the msi model yourself it listed incorrectly. Still love laptop and upgrades done gonna repaste it my self soon

Good Value For Money
This computer is very good value for money. For best user experience update the bios and update Windows. This was suggested in another post and so far so good. Overall I give it 5 stars. It runs without lag. I had no issues with video editing and streaming, especially with GPU encoding. Of course it handles routine office work with/without dictations apps well. The Wifi speeds were very reasonable also. It is compact yet feels big. I am used to a 17.3" laptop monitor. I gave it 3 for battery life but this should be taken in context. If you buy a sports car you may get low gas mileage. This laptop seeks to deliver high end desktop performance so this uses up the battery when set for best performance. I highly recommend.

If you don't plan on having this computer live on the charger, forget about it
I have yet to come back to my computer after putting it to sleep to find the computer "alive." I had high hopes for this computer. The specs are incredible. The keyboard has, in my opinion, the perfect layout. The trackpad is pretty good. But the battery is absolutely horrid. I can use my computer with a full charge for 5 minutes, put the computer to sleep, come back after an hour, and the computer will be dead. For that reason, it is almost unusable as my daily laptop and I find that my computer is plugged in whenever I am using it. Very unfortunate, because I was very excited by this laptop; but I would advise anyone against purchasing it. Edit: Just today I was using this computer with ~ 40% battery and it shut off on me with a dead battery. I'm starting to think my battery was bad on arrival.

Decently Powerful Laptop. Might need a Cooling Pad though.
This laptop is very worthy of being a great gaming laptop. It can run most games at decent graphics settings, you can use the built in software to configure it to your liking. The only downside I would say about it is that like most laptops, it does get pretty hot even with the fans set to Cooler Boost, it doesn’t affect the performance in any way from what I’ve noticed but it does make the keyboard feel a bit toasty. Maybe a Cooling Pad would rectify that. Overall, if you’re looking for a device that can run modern and older games, you are looking in the right place!
